why does Al Pacino look so different as Tony Montana compared to Michael Corleone

I've always assumed the drugs he could afford from Godfather helped him get into character in Scarface, To be very clear, this is my assumption and not a statement of fact. :messenger_beaming:

Can we talk about how Al Pacino didn't get into acting until his early 30's and was in a string of classics. I get the feeling that wouldn't happen these days.
 
The difference is in age, hair dye, eye liner, sun tan, and theatre scar mesh. His voice changed more drastically. Originally he was soft-spoken, but then he gained a hoarse quality to his voice. I do enjoy his emulation of the linguistics though. Hard to believe the source material is a black and white 1932 mob flick loosely based on a book about a character emulating Al Capone.
