This 'animated reality television show' is awesome! Awesome funny that is! Blows Simpsons out of the water but doesn't quite generate the same amount of laughs as Family Guy, but it has the same kind of humor, vial, evil humor, so it definately qualifies. :D

Go download or.. watch.. on TV, if that's even possible. NOW! YOU, NOW!

I think Family Guy sucks and I think this sucks too. (Yet I like South Park.)

But Ling Ling is cute.

I've only seen one episode of it, but what I saw was hilarious! :lol

It was the one centered around the video game adventurer being gay.

When he got 100 golden rings and was able to spin jump omg :lol x 10!

Or when he wanted to commit suicide and had to do it 50 times! :lol :lol

It is pretty funny... but my Tivo hasn't been recording it lately... is it still just running repeats? My favorite ep is probably when Clara's cousin comes to visit. Yeah just checked Comedy Central's website, still on 8 eps on there... when the hell are new eps coming?

EDIT:

Jesus not until this FALL... what the bloody hell... oh well at least it's suppose to be 15eps this time.... hmm the first season is suppose to come out on DVD too... cool.

Yes it is funny as all fukk. It pisses on the Simpsons. It's alot better than what South Park's degraded into over the years. And it's more consistent than Family Guy.

All 3 of which seem to have a loyal following around here for some reason.

:lol Bullshit. It standard, predictable, and infantile shock humor that's aimed at the stupid teenage male.

Yeah, because they're good.

There's another Comedy Central show where random comedian's stand-up acts are animated as you hear them deliver it; I forget the name, but it's pretty funny. What's not funny (and, in fact, excruciating to watch) are the original animated bumpers in between the stand-up acts, which are done in Drawn Together-style "oooh we're so edgy" tone.

And you aren't considered to be in that category because...?

This is different from say... any of the other "adult cartoons" how? Have you taken any pictures of the cartoon as proof?

A) Not a teenager
B) I need comedy to bit a little thought out. South Park is a sattire now, The Simpsons and Family Guy are clever humor. This, from what I've seen, is mindless shock humor.

You need to sit your ass down and watch atleast 3 eps of this. First one wasn't all that, well, it had the lesbian kiss, but it takes off. By the time it comes to killing all the happy song animals that come out of nowhere when the princess sings for food you'll be hooke. :)

I agree that some of it is shock. But a lot of it is pretty clever.

The more episodes I saw, the more I hated it. It's offensiveness with no depth - the equivalent of a 30 minute fart joke.

Yeah, I saw the pilot and was annoyed, then later caught the "tentacles" episode and was just disgusted. I don't think I cracked a smile.

Muh. I like it, I also like FG, Simpsons, Robot Chicken (less than Drawn Together I might add) and American Dad, just thought it fitted into the same category, s'all.

I gave this show a couple of episodes and just thought it was terrible. when I saw this thread I thought maybe it had gotten better as it went along, but I guess not.

Laughed more at eps 4-6 than at the whole lesbian kiss/vagina monster (1-3)...

We must have similar tastes. I think Robot Chicken is funny too.

I don't think Drawn Together is on here in Canada, but does anyone watch Bromwell High? Since it's on when I'm looking for Futurama I watched it last night.... not sure if it's good as I've only watched parts of 2 eps but I did laugh a couple of times. A bit forced with all the "motherfuckers" and broad ethnic stereotypes but the tiger's cock and balls were a bit of a surpise (I'll admit, I laughed).

And the headmaster Iqbal retiring the monkey-teachers ("no children, is only tranquillizer gun" *BLAM*) was hilarious.

It's on the Comedy Network.

Any other Canadians here think the Comedy Network's advertisements for shows (which are 5 seconds long and show a brief image of the show and then "on the comedy network!" screen) are utterly useless? They don't even tell you what day or time the show is on. What the hell kind of promo is that? I STILL wouldn't know what day or time Drawn Together is if I didn't completely accidentally run into it while watching TV. It's on Saturday, though I'm not sure the exact time, I think 9pm.

There were supposed to be 9 episodes the first season. Hopefully the "lost" episode will be on the dvd set. Supposedly it had a gag that had something to do with Christopher Reeves, but then he died so they chose not to air it

I liked the show. Only wasn't funny when the shock humor wasn't all that shocking cuz you've seen it all before on Family Guy, South Park, etc

To retarded cousin: "No no...leave the helmet on" :lol

Well that explains why noone in Canada will know what it is. :lol You're exactly right about their commercials, if it wasn't for Simpsons reruns I wouldn't watch one second of it ever.

I'm def getting the DVD.

All this talk about maturity. The absolute shit the Simpsons has devolved into sure is witty. Watching someone's balls being mutilated, and being preached to all the while being told how much someone hates preaching. Positivley high brow.

Funny's funny. Drawn Together's funny. Family Guy is occasionally funny. The only worthwhile thing South Parks done in years was Woodland Critter Christmas.

It's on at 9:30 PM (PST) on Saturday. Then again at 12:30 am (PST).

:) I am so glad to see so many more people who love/like this show too. I sure hope next season there will be more DT fan threads. I spent last season bumping up the same damn thread.

I definitely don't see why people say this is all shock value though, there's alot of really hilariously obscure references in there. Like the awesome Flash Gordon reference when Xandir got his hand bit off, I almost died when I saw that. :lol
