:lol so true. If I were older and had more money, I would move to Washington.
Great place to live. Either that or Europe or Canada. But that would be a little hard.

A.) Western WA is the side that gets all the rain.

B.) Seattle is deep enough in to not get nearly enough rain to make the rumors true.

C.) AZ heat is fucking evil.

Some people like the Southwest, you know.

yes, the "lizard scum" as Bill Hicks put it. :)

I lived in Yuma, AZ for 2 years. Let me tell you, when the heat is 120+ degrees for two weeks straight, it's time to move.

Hang out with Steve.
In Seattle it's more of a misty drizzle than hard rain, but it still does rain a heck of a lot. It's one of the reasons Seattle has had the highest suicide rate in the US.

It is beautiful there though, and Seattle is one of the coolest, funkiest cities in the country. And it's cool to be able to go out into Puget Sound and see whales, porpoises and seals of various kinds, bald eagles winging around, and dormant snow-capped volcanoes a few hours away. Plus there's the rain forest on the west side of the Olympics, and if you're lucky you can buy a place in a "rain shadow".
