On the Game Boy Advance there were a lot of (straight) ports of SNES games and even some NES games made an apperance on this handheld. Now the Nintendo DS is out in the USA and will release in Europe in a short while I've got a question. Wich N64 games would you guys like to see ported to the DS?

I'd like to see Banjo Tooie/Kazooie, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Conker, Killer Instinct Gold, 1080 Snowboarding and Pokemon Snap on it. Those could be really cool ports in my humble opinion, those games deserve it to be played by the younger generation as well.

didn't we already have this same exact thread before? I'd prefer if we didn't get any more ports. We want original games.

In case that it's a double thread, I'm sorry.

Paper Mario should go DS as well indeed, was a pretty cool game. Maybe they can make a double pack of it together with Mario RPG.

I've said this before (in the previous thread), and I'll say it again:

The only port I will welcome on the DS is Sin & Punishment. Good underrated games (ie: BAR) I will tolerate, anything else (ie: SM64DS) I will scorn.

Games I already own will not sell me a system, new original games (ie: Another Code) will.

Mario Party 1,2,3 in one cart with wireless multiplay support :D
That would be awesome.

Mario Tennis, Pokemon Snap, Goldeneye and Perfect Dark too. The FPS's would rock with DS's control setup. A port of Perfect Dark on DS with better framerate would be my favourite game ever.

I would kill for Portable 3D Zeldas (both + Master Quest), Ogre Battle 64, Starfox 64, Sin & Punishment, F-Zero X (with the new tracks, music, and track editor of the 64DD expansion), for starters.

Usually I'd say none, but some games with N64 engines with different levels would be sweet.

Star Fox 64 engine with 15 new missions = instant buy
No Mercy engine with same amount of customizability and current WWE roster = instant buy
Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time engine with new mission = instant buy, BUT that'd probably be too much development for a handheld game, I don't think they'd do that. Probably go with the cheaper, 4 swords kind of advanced 2D kind of game.

I think I'd rather have "new" games for almost all Nintendo's stuff. Mario 64 DS is nice, but in some ways illustrates why DS is better suited towards new content rather than ports.

Honestly, I'm much more interested in possible Saturn/PS1 ports for DS over most N64 stuff. Paper Mario 1, Mischief Makers, Sin & Punishment and Shiren 2 might be okay though.
