Will humans evolve further into something else in the future?

Technology develops faster than human evolution. We will change more because of our technology, and whatever modifications we choose to use it to make to our body, than by natural evolution. Evolution is over for humanity unless we have some kind of huge catastrophe that sets back our technological advancement.

Humanity's ultimate goal is to join the Overmind through natural (non-technological) means.

Years ago I said something to my best friend about evolution and he looked at me like I was the biggest dumbass ever.

My thought was: if heart disease is number one killer of people, eventually will we eve one to where the human body naturally eliminates artery plaque and whatnot?
I think you would have to get people who were 80 with perfect hearts to reproduce to pass down their good heart genes

Technological evolution will take over before any major naturally-occurring evolutionary traits appear.
It won't even be that far in the future. The signs of it are already here.

Augmented strength, endurance, metabolism, etc. will all be perfectly feasible using technology; and those things will affect appearances.
Things like naturally bigger heads, or better vision, etc. would eventually happen over time, but it will be too slow to make any difference compared to how quickly technology moves.

Plus, our technology allows the weak to survive and propagate, so there's a pretty good chance humans will become more and more frail over time; which actually would appear to be a 'reversal' of our evolutionary advantages (there's no such thing as 'devolving,' but the point still stands).
