I believe in Japan it's coming in the bundled and non-bundled variety.
So the bongos aren't necessarily free, as the non-bundled package will be cheaper.
I hope they offer a konga-less package. I have two sets, one for me, one for my GF, and that's all I really need/want. It'd be awesome to pick up jungle beat for $30 without a set of drums...
I remember the buzz was that they wanted to sell DK:JB at full price without the Kongas, but then again, that was May. We'll have to wait and see, but personally, I really wouldn't be surprised to see both bundled and non-bundled forms (a la Sony's EyeToy games).
In Japan, it'll be 5800 Yen standalone and 6800 Yen with the Tarukongas. So, it's as if you're going to get Tarukongas for $9 or so. I'm not sure which set will be more abundant in Japan, probably standalone because the original Donkey Konga sold 450K there.

Damn, nearly half a million copies there? It's only at like a little over 100,000 in the US, isn't it? The Japanese love their music.. and drums.. and dancing.. and fruity things of that nature. Hell, I like it too!

and yeah, i hope they don't try to sell jungle beat by itself for $50. particularly given how long it takes nintendo games to drop in price. i could go for another set of bongos.
They should bundle Jungle Beat with the Konga for $60 in the US.
If they do it for JPN they should do it for the US too.
Any higher price and Nintendo is just begging for a bomb
(unless the controller works good too).
