The Mistwalker games could carry a lot more weight than people think right now.

Bluedragon is climbing the Famitsu "most wanted" charts. It's at no. 8 this week? (higher than DOA4 even) It might even sell thanks to the Toriyama hype...







But MS Japan might just screw it all up! :lol :lol :lol

But isn't the first one coming out late next year? By that time PS3 will be out and it probably won't make much of a difference.

I don't know if the date of Blue Dragon is fixed yet. I'm sure there'll be some great Japan-developed games out before that, but the Mistwalker games will be what push the casual masses over the edge, so to speak. I don't know what PS3 will have to offer before the end of 2006 but I'm not expecting a big name RPG in that timeframe.
