I have a seagate hard drive and upgraded to windows 10. I plugged in the hard drive using a usb enclosure and the drive didn't pop up. I looked in disk management and it shows that the drive has been cut into two partitions, one with 2 gb and the other unallocated. Has anyone run into this and found a fix?

Apparently you can download the acronis virtualdisksetup driver to fix the issue but I did that and it didn't work.

For clarity, the Seagate drive was an external or secondary drive that was plugged in during the W10 upgrade process? Are there any tags/labels on the 2 GB partition (like System Reserved or whatever)?

Another GAF member recently ran into a similar problem during the upgrade: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1223011

Is there data on the drive you need? Otherwise, you can blow away the partitions and reallocate/format as needed in Windows Disk Management.
