I have a Denon 3808 receiver and after upgrading to Windows 7 I'm having a few issues with getting it to stream music from my PC. I see my device, the 3808, listed under Media Streaming Options in the control panel, but the receiver doesn't see any of my music.

When using the Denon menu I can see my PC, the root music folder, but none of the artist and album sub folders. Has anyone had issues with streaming music under Win 7/WMP and how did you fix it? It worked great under XP so I'm a little surprised to find that it doesn't work as well under Win7.

Windows 7 has a ton of issues with sound. I can't even access my sound control panel unless I double lick on the icon, put the computer to sleep and wake it back up. Then, the window will appear.

In short, I don't know, but you're in good (bad) company.

I solved the problem by not using WMP 12 and DL'ing TVersity. It works with my receiver, PS3, etc. If anyone is looking for a good streaming program I'd recommend it.
