Hey, when you guys boot up your computers, is WMC sometimes disabled (as far as sharing is concerned) while it scans for media? Why does it do that periodically?

Doesn't happen to me -- but mine doesn't automatically scan for media at all.

(Well maybe it does happen to me. I only reset once in a blue moon so I probably wouldn't notice if it does)

Happens maybe 2x a week. I leave it sitting for maybe 10, 15 minutes, and then resumes sharing. Only seems to happen on the occasional boot up, however.
