Yeah... I don't know if I'll get much of a response to this... and I know I'm doing things properly, since this has worked for months and months before, but now WME seems to have broken...

So I'm reconverting all my website videos, adding a bunch of new ones, and a new "goodcowfilms.com" bumper at the begining of them. (plus higher quality encodes)

SOURCE 1 -> BUMPER
At end: roll over to next source
SOURCE 2 -> CONTENT
At end: roll over to next source
SOURCE 3 -> One second of black
At end: Done

And the videos are widescreen, with non-square pixel selected, and DV 16-9.

So, I started converting stuff, and it worked. Now, a day and a reboot later, it doesn't.

The first video shows up as widescreen, the second shows up stretched to full screen.

The settings are correct, I've tried different files, I uninstalled WME and reinstalled, and still the same thing.

Any ideas?

And what's odd is that this is pretty much a WME 101 thing to do. One thing I've noticed with WME in general is that it spontaneously ignores settings from time to time. I've saved sessions twice, no THREE times, and still had it reset a few things on a whim. It's flaky, but what do you want for "Free"?

My advice is just create a new profile from scratch and see if that works.

WME is flakey sometimes to me as well. I doubt that Quicktime 7 has anything to do with it. It uses a wholly different set of dlls than what Windows Media does.

The Quicktime jab was more out of jest.

Look at the xml though, it SHOULD be working fine.

Retarded ass program.

Maybe I should just use Sorenson SQUEEZE.
