No, there are only two naughty sites I visit and they are both bit torrent solutions.

I did download that Microsoft Anti Spyware beta software though! Could it be causing this?

This is XP Service Pack 2 blocking that cab file, not the AntiSpyware Beta.

Try this:

Go to Tools -> Options, select the Security tab, click on Zone Settings. Click on Custom level. Try changing on of the options from "Disable" to "Prompt" which will then make Windows ask you if you want to run it anyway.

I'm just not 100% sure which option it is.
