Did you guys watch Nurarihyon Season 2?

Hagoromo-Gitsune is seriously boss. Best villain in shounen history right there.

Its that good? I remember reading one chapter of the manga and liking it but I struggle to catch up to long running manga at this point in time. Was the anime licensed, maybe Ill just look into that if its a quality adapttation.

Persona 4 23

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I don't remember Yu
trying to put Namatame in the TV
in the game, and I didn't like it. When he was staring completely stonefaced and motionless in the hospital room, I thought he was shutting everything out so that he could hyper-focus on the case, leading to the realization that things didn't add up. What actually happened felt really awkward and unnecessary.

That bromantic moment was too good, though.

This episode made me miss Yosuke and Namatame's English VAs. I loved the bite in
Shadow Namatame's
English dub.

Well glad that isnt how it was done in the game, truly awkward indeed. Hm I just realized Ill be able to hear all their eng dub voices once golden comes, hope everyone is actually good (please let Yosuke have a great voice and Teddie and Kanji). It'll be like a fresh experience.

I got the Fate Zero box today!

Its a pretty thing, but the portions facing the outside of the box are just plain white. Kind of wish they had more artwork. Oh well it is definitely a gorgeous looking set and high quality.

Chie's VA takes some getting used to(it fits her really well, but it's rather distinct), and Yukiko's is pretty inconsistent, but the rest of them are great as far as I can remember.

In the game, it's a bad ending and you need to say the right answers so that your characters WON'T do it.
One might remembers how the dialogue in question was awkward as fuck and pretty much required you to look up the answers in order not to screw up...
The MC being the way he is in the game, he obviously didn't do much during the scene in the game but with the way they built up his character and relation with Nanako in the anime, it would have been fucking weird if he hadn't blinked an eye here.

It could have been done better (maybe?) but I can totally see what they tried to pull.

Season one anime is poor but season 2 is great so far. This arc is already great to begin with (greatest arc so far in Nurarihyon) so it's not surprising.

But Protag's defining character trait in both the game and the show is how unshakeable he is. I think Chie even mentions that at the end of the scene in the game. In the anime, the repeated cuts to him staring at nothing with a blank face seemed like a representation of that. Not that he didn't have any anger in him, but that he was suppressing it with all his will so that he could keep a clear head.

It would have made the scene afterward with Brosuke all the more poignant -- with the investigation team dispersed, Yu is finally able to drop the cool-headed leader persona and let loose everything he was holding back.

Darn the ending is starting already, pretty epic episode overall (Chris song is always the best for fighting). Anime girl always has the best lines. The plot got all intense, I loved it.

Chris went out with a huge bang which was pretty epic but I was tearing up when she had to resort to her song, I didnt want to see yet another death. I wonder if Hibiki will have to use her swan song, is that what Zesshou means, to kill Fine.

BRS 7

This is so terribly stupid.
so Saya is going around destroying girls' hopes, dreams, etc, trying to kill Mato, all for the real Yuu? And Saya is constantly blabbering about how BRS should stop fighting, all while Yuu is beating the shit out of her. So it's ok for other girls to lose their alternate selfs, just so long as Yuu is ok? What is Saya even trying to accomplish? None of her actions make any sense, because they have nothing to do with what she says she is trying to do, keep Yuu safe. There was no reason to purposely kill Dead Master if that was the case.

The only good part of this episode was the handdrawn otherworld at the end, the rest of it was simply terrible.

At least there's only one more episode til I'm done with this shit forever.

I completely hate shit like this. The whole concept is stupid as fuck. Anyway,
the swan song shouldn't have any negative effect on Hibiki, so that seems unlikely.

Well that kid has a knack for taking some serious punishment. He also has a knack for being really annoying.

Also, maybe this wasn't an issue when the show was newer, but I am so tired of the female protagonist who can't get a word out to
LITERALLY
save her life.

I think I forgot to post when I watched it or something. But anyway team dynamics focused episode leading to development of characters was pretty nice. Kaoru is definitely one of my favorites on a team and that entire ending scene
everyone appearing to practice in the park with the one dude
was pretty cool.

Ozma 1

It's certainly got Leiji Matsumoto designs and is trying to ape the feel of 80s sci-fi anime. You've got your mysterious girl being pursued by the military for unknown reasons,

people staring at displays and spouting technobabble,

ip6oM.jpg

an awkward male main character caught up in an excessively awkward proto-love triangle, a surly female ship captain who passes the time with tarot cards, a grizzled old engine room guy, a quiet mask-wearing antagonist, etc. The problem is that none of this comes together into anything noteworthy. The characters, narrative, and setting are underdeveloped, and the production quality is mediocre - I suppose you can't expect much more from a co-production between the fledging LandQ Studios and Gonzo. Not feeling it.

I like this show. REALLY don't understand why animuGAF hates it so much.

:/

Suspicious...

It's not a bad show. It's just depressing and fucked up.

That's the spirit! (Though to clarify, I don't think Ozma is bad per se, just mediocre.)

At present I don't see what it has going for it outside the nostalgia factor.

- None of the story elements are executed in a noteworthy manner.
- Characters, narrative, and setting are sub-par.
- Production quality is mediocre.
- Barely meets already low expectations.
- Nothing going for it outside of nostalgia.

That sounds pretty bad to me... the only mediocre part being the production values.

Knight in the area 11

Meh. I don't get what the female doctor at the hospital is playing at. Since the first time she appeared, it's like she wants
the "spirit"/feelings/whatever of the older brother to manifest itself or something.

Kill Me Baby 8

I realize that I laugh/smile at all the jokes even if they are silly/stupid. This show's humor really resonates with me, I guess.

Can someone explain to me why there is a show called "Knight in the Area" in the first place? What the fuck is it even supposed to mean?

The title makes little sense. When I think about a knight, I think about a dude in armor with a sword killing dragons, not a dude that waits in the penalty area for a pass to score, but hey, I'll roll with it I guess.

This is starting to sound like how tech-savvy people react to episodes of CSI and NCIS which cover videogames or hacking. Except for football.

Erm, you can't do that. It's called offside.
