Think Tiff said the ban was up at the beginning of March.
I just watched the first five eps too and must say, this isn't half bad for a romantic teeny comedy. The only problem I see so far is that it isn't a Lovely Complex. But then again, probably nothing in this genre will ever reach the levels of Lovely Complex again (well except production lol).

When the main girl is an alien with a mascot sidekick, you're not going to be anywhere near as sensitive and fleshed-out as Lovely Complex. Ano Natsu isn't half-bad for what it is, though.

Yep thats what I think so far. For obvious reasons it feels a little bit ripped off Onegai Teacher which in itself should stand against it, but to my own surprise it doesn't bother me much in this case. Well it is a little bit more on the angsty side, thats for sure.
You should be banned. But yeah, purely stupid shit will get you banned anywhere, but I can agree that it's with a good primer in the gaming side that the issue of ' animugaf sheltering' and, ultimately, naivety dissipates.

Kanna is bothered by Ichika and Kaito growing closer, and I love how Tetsuro answers her question with "Couldn't be more obvious," So true, Tetsuro. Also, Remon totally fucking knows everything about Ichika. Granted, I suspected she knew from the start but she's being blatantly obvious now. I wonder if she herself is from the same place Ichika is from? XD
I feel bad for Kanna though, she's basically the third wheel in every sense of the word. She's the only thing in the way of the Ichika/Kaito pairing and ALSO the only thing stopping the Tetsuro/Mio pairing. :/ And it's not like she's trying to mess things up like that, that's just how it's ended up. Anyhoo Kanna is very clearly sensing that she's about the lose, but decides to visit Kaito anyway. She was clearly hoping Kaito would invite her in, but had to invite herself in after Ichika distracted Kaito with the "emergency" of the leaky roof. AAAAAAAAAAAND once again Mio is nekkid at home with that bear. That's still a very very odd thing to do... gotta sell dem BDs somehow I suppose?
Then, Kanna and Ichika talk about their respective family/friends, but once again Kanna feels Kaito slipping away and uses what she probably views as her last resort. The "So when are you leaving?" card (though she feels guilty immediately after asking). She's having a hard time fighting for Kaito while still trying to be what she views as a "good person", and now feels completely despicable.
Tetsuro, you're a total bro to Kanna. Frankly, I knew what he was doing the second he showed up at Kaito's house the way he did. But yeah, he knows that it's better for Kanna that Kaito know her feelings but she won't tell him because it would make everything awkward. So he takes it on himself to do so. Now the show gets even more interesting!

I've been posting quite a bit, just at odd times. Maybe even odder if you're American. You might miss my amazing (not really) posts which are full of important (debatable) information. They are mostly about moe cute stuff though.

I can see how this movie will be horrible for people that never played the VN, they cut off all the plot and focus on the action. I would call this a supplement to the VN than an actual standalone movie.
They also lighten the violent a bit in the movie,
Gundam 00 Season 1 Eps 1-10
I like this more than I expected, the setting have so much potential, and a change from the old gundam space colony vs earth formula. I think this is the first time a gundam show based on real nations, and actual conflicts (war in middle east, etc).
I do have some complain, usually the most annoying part of a gundam show is when the main pilot go into "emo mode" for a few episode. At least something like gundam seed only have Kira, this show have 4 problematic kids that need years of therapist.
It is interesting enough to keep me going. Going to be long show, 2 season + movie.

Looks like Disney has high hopes for The Secret World of Arrietty, since they're planning an opening weekend release on more than 1200 screens.
For comparison, Ponyo opened on about 900 screens, and Howl's Moving Castle on a mere 200.

Hmm, if I wasnt inundated with a backlogh, I'd give it an ep. Gotta bust this out before the come of spring.
I hope it does well. I'm really looking forward to seeing it on the big screen, and the dub doesn't sound too bad either. That poster is still kind of creepy though.
I haven't seen anything related to Saint Seiya so I'll definitely be checking this out then. Umakoshi owns.
