Come on, this is anime. Someone decided that this looked okay too:

They're all dead! That's why they don't cast any shadows! (Except on themselves.)

of course, i'm pretty sure there's no english dub out anyway
The end will change things up a little, but i'm sure you'll find those things interesting. Also, I had watched the Japanese BDs originally, so I had no idea what Sentai did with their release.

Soredemo Machi wa Mawatte Iru 1

i'm gonna thoroughly enjoy this show if the first episode's anything to go by.

What I enjoyed most about this show was, it rarely takes the easy, expected direction. The course of the show from the beginning to the end is unpredictable, in a good way. It never gets stuck on the same formula.

And Chiaki was wonderful of course.

The Law of Ueki: 7

I can't say I dig the randomly added factor of 'talents.' With even all the shoehorning this show has done, to focus on them all of the sudden feels especially so. Also, QA was total shit this ep. I mean, it's always been bad, but that guy up there, his mouth wasn't even animated for that whole exchange. He just posed as one still and another. The beginning of the ep was alright.

I grabbed the first still because something felt horribly off with his chin while watching... And I can't see it anymore. I need to go to bed. The 'DRAMATIC FLASHBACKS' that try to tug out empathy for the antagonists/soon to be bros, those are becoming a bit predictable. Hadyn brought the good, bring him back.

Alright, I admit that I laughed when that
kid died of a heart attack. The timing I think is what did it for me.

Also, it's finally great to have some answers for once, but now i'm wondering what's going to happen next.

I wonder if Sakakibara's aunt will die.

Chihayafuru 18

The production values continue to be mediocre, which is a problem when the episode is so intently focused on karuta strategy. To keep me interested in a game I don't particularly care about or understand I need strong direction, which earlier Chihayafuru episodes had. Akagi's treatment of mahjong would be another example. This current episode on the other hand was mostly dull, although it was nice to get insight into Kana and Desktomu's thinking processes, as they haven't been focused on much.

I hope the show can find its way back to the quality it had in its first half, because it would be sad to see it fizzle out like this.

Now Kouichi and Mei team up to summon their Personas and search for the killer inside the TV!

I wonder if Sakakibara's aunt will die.

She was in a previous Class 3. It's not clear at this point if that means she's immune to the curse or not, having survived it once already. You get the feeling she's pretty fucking freaked out about having to live in fear of the curse again, judging from her reaction in episode 5.

I just wonder if the
curse still works if they've survived it once.

That image man... That got me pretty good haha.

Also, because you said Persona, watch them get
evokers and then Mei's death at the end will be against whoever the ghost is, and the ghost puts in real bullets instead.

It'll turn into Scooby Doo where they try to solve the mystery while being chased by death. At least I hope this doesn't mean the end of brutal-death-of-the-week.

Upon further thought, I think I can somewhat see the reason why they didn't tell main character what's going on because that would mean aknowledging the extra classmate's existance BUT, the curse only happens once a month, so why they never used that time window to explain shit after the first death is beyond me, so it comes back to the classmates acting like dicks.

Dibs on the head of countermeasures being the ghost, she's conveiently able to manipulate the actions of everyone.

I just wonder how
Izumi being there on day one would've fixed things or what kind of contingency plans they have for new people. I have no idea how she could've explained it without spoiling it. Also, why don't they just beg for them to not put a student in that class?

With that said, it's almost self-explanatory why this has been as visually boring as it is. Plus, it's an easier explanation without having to actually detail why.

The
Pretty Soldier pose and
joke would have been somewhat decent if the enemy was something to be concerned about, but the dull enemies being as inconsequential as they are makes the dull comedy feel even duller. Yumeria has potential to make a few decent jokes with power charging or special training, and you can obviously see where they were going with them, but the poor attempts are without the humor. I think I've seen enough to claim the characters aren't even bad enough to be cliche. As characters, they're simply characterless with no definable trait because the characterization has been so bad and poorly timed.

I'd assume it's because Kouichi hadn't technically joined the class yet, so they could have told him before he introduced himself, as for why they didn't ask to put in one less classmate, I bet it'd be the classic "the ghost did it" response.

Dunno if this has been said yet, but there's apparently (I think it is) a scan out of a new Eureka 7 AO character.

It's a girl with Moondoggie's blonde hair and Gidget's blue eyes. She also kinda looks like Mater but the eye color is slightly different.

Why didn't they tell him when they
visited him in the hospital though?
Eh, there's probably something surrounding it closer to what you said though.

Penguindrum 2

Kam and Shouma are hilarious as well as their two penguin partners. The episode was pretty gripping even if Ringo was unappealing and
creepy. Penguindrum is future diary? nice.
I like the animation style for running and how flashbacks are handle and funny signs.

SteinsGate 15/16

Suzuha's fate and subsequent father revelation and death was touching and shocking. So glad Mayuri was spared

Tiger & Bunny 15/16

Loss of powers for Kotetsu is an interesting plot change while revealing Yuri/Lunatic is related to Legend is cool. Starting to like Yuri, himself, pretty cool.

Enjoy Pengiundrum while it last... it'll bring you a lot of fun for the next 10 episode... then.....

For SteinsGate you haven't get to the best part yet... there are like a new surprise every episode. The whole second half are packed with so much awesome stuff that I am sad we most likely will never see the VN.

Let me know how you feel about Tiger & Bunny after it finish, I never tried it, just heard that it will go downhill afterward.

That sure is a pretty house after the dozenth time I've seen that exact frame. Not to mention the number of times I've witnessed it in the previous episodes except not as egregious.

Firstly, beach episode was terrible. Lastly, that entire conversation between Tomokazu and Mizuki about
her transferring schools
was awful. Since when was I suppose to care about Mizuki when the character dynamics have been as terrible as they've been in the harem (please don't have me recount why)? At least have the necessary setup for a trope if you're going to use one. Otherwise, it feels incredibly forced beyond belief.

New information on what E7AO really is:

The setting is "Earth" in the year 2025 A.D. The story is about Ao and his friends fighting against monsters known as Secret. "Generacion Bull" (sp?) is a private military company in the business of defeating Secrets, and they have assembled IFO (Intelligence Flying Object) pilots with great skills - all of which are girls.

The first new character shown is a 16 year old girl from France called Flair. She's the leader of Team Piped Piper, and sees Ao as a rival. The second new character is a 15 year old girl from America called Elena. She's a geek girl and little bit of a klutz, also a member of Team Piped Piper.

Please, someone kill me now. :(

Soredemo 2

The unpredictable nature of the shows a breath of fresh air when compared to most other anime "comedies". Meid-you!

Have a small gift.

Yeah, the OP and ED are pretty damn good.

Does anyone know how well this sold compared to SHAFT's other series?

So basically it's Infi--

So it's basically Infinite stratos 2.0.

What this says. Dear lord, talk about lowest common denominator.

Previously, it was a beach episode. This episode was a festival episode. With episodes like this and the plot being what it is, it makes the plot feel so dumb.

Oh, and it's been apparent, but
Nanase
has the best chance in the harem for love. Speaking of which, that shiratori game she played with Tomokazu. One of the worst examples of obvious cost saving measures I've ever seen. The panning and zooming has been so obvious the last few episodes (4, 5 and 6).
