One of the least exciting of the otome anime. I dont have anything against classical music but perhaps its the characters just not having any interesting traits or UtaPri dominating the idols much better. Watching this for Kyoya, he seems like a better lead and one needing more development. Togane Chiaki is alright too.

I'm mega pumped for both. I need to buy the manga when I get paid ghis week to support the mangaka. These two, the sumo anime and Ace of the diamond and Yowamushi pedal will give me my sports anime fix.

I'm in. I generally enjoy sci-fi anime more than most other genres. And when you get one that isn't horrendously average, it usually turns out well.

Another series that caught my interest. Seems to be your basic fantasy-themed series with some humor injected here and there. I'll keep it in my queue for the time being.
Overall, there seems to be less that interests me this season than the last few, which is fine. BTW, does anyone know if Hozuki no Reitetsu is over yet? Since the series doesn't have a continuing plot from one episode to the next, I wasn't sure if they were ending it with episode 13 or not.

Nothing "happened" to them. The moment they announced Takashi Tomioka was the action animation director on Mahouka people knew it would have good action. Show still looks like shit though. You're making it sound like it's surprising or unusual that there's great action in Mahouka, or that Mahouka is not expected to have good action. Weird statement.

So i finally watched it ...i won't lie , i have mixed feeligns
The first twist ? i saw it coming .
The second twist ? ok i can accept that.
The third twist ? WTF kyubei , WHY MUST YOU BE SUCH AN ASSHOLE ? Just how evil must you be ? I will never be tired of seeing you killed because you totally deserve it.

In short : I'm ok with this ... Considering what happenned , if that the way they can go for this situation i don't mind. i always considered the sole sacrifice of madoka in the tv series , even if it lead to "hope" instead of " despair " quite unfair ... this new situation please me to no end.
About the movie :
SHAFT animation was godly ... GODLY
I loved it ! Only shaft can do this stuff so bad yet so well at the same time... the
fight was very fun to watch and so was the beginning of this movie. the first part of the movie has a vibe that i honnestly wished to see in this franchise considering just HOW badly and fast thing turns around in the original tv series

She rewrote part of the rules of the universe ! I will finally have my good end ..... OR NOT .... The only good thing is that there is finally someone to keep the incubators in check .... seriously ABOUT TIME !! The fact that she became an entity on the same level as madoka is alright because while they are on the opposite of the fence , the feeligns both have for the other are 100% real ...
Final twist :
Madoka came back ! It's obvious that she went back because the incubator threat is less prononced and to be with homura and even in the state that she lost her memories , she ( they ) can still make more!!

Considering I've never heard anyone expecting good action out of Mahouka and it was all in reference to the incest stuff, yea it's pretty surprising.

Except that, as it's an LN, this basically takes the form of the sister talking about amazing the brother is at everything and it features her simpering for affection like an animal. I'm surprised she doesn't die of pleasure when he pats her on the head.
Firehawk would get a kick out of this, I'm sure, as it features sub-SAO quality writing.

I'm in the camp believing Homura did what she did because it was what she believed in given the conversations with Madoka in the movie (before Madoka regained her memories), not necessarily right or wrong.
Edit: On an off-topic note, where is everyone watching Mahouka because I can't find it on CR.

decision make sense in context , what she wants is not only to be with madoka but to correct this situation because "love" She love her so much that she took this decision. Not to mention that the incubators threat was there and needed to be fixed too ( i don't belive 1 sec that they wouldn't retry something similar) with someone else or in another situation just to trap madoka again because they are now aware that an existence called madoka exist ( they observed her even if she was human ) ... too dangerous to just accept her fate.
I don't believe this was her plan from the start i believe she resolved herself to do it once kuybei did his thing since turning into a full witch wasn't possible.
