It's the complete opposite for me. Having clocked about 2000++ hours into HDMy problems are multiples :
I have HUNDRED of hours logged into HD, Fury and 2048.
So I don't feel like I really need HD and Fury again. 2048 remaster is THE added value and worth the look. ...
and Fury, I need them again on PS4 like dope. What I'm most interested in is
that the game now runs butter smooth all the time, hopefully, no matter what
happens on the track. It are essentially these performance drops which put
a good racer off the line. Having a continuous ride / flow while pwning your
way ahead is what makes all of the difference for me. There are so many places
in HD/Fury where the frame rate drops, esp. if there is some action going
on at the very same place, that it becomes pretty annoying when you race a
good line and know your stuff. This seem like a minor issue from a distance,
but the margins are pretty small if you really race on a competitive level
where such drops make all of the difference.
Better buy three copies, really. It's good to have some copies left for a... Then : I want the physical edition because of course I want a WipEout box (I missed the HD Fury EU physical release and second hand is too pricey now) but it's a game, like Rez, that is more convenient to have on the HDD to boot whenever.
So, just like Rez Infinite, I think I'll buy day one the physical release and down the line the digital licence when in sale.
couple of reasons.
