WIRE is an annual techno event.
This year (July 16th), among the usual array of DJs and techno artists, 808 State will be playing live.
To jazz things up a bit, there'll be a special area called "The 3rd area" and there'll be exclusive Wipeout Pure content there that you can download.

Content includes:
- WIRE05 special BGM
Takkyu Ishino track composed for the WIRE05 commercials.
- WIRE05 special circuit
Circuit will suit the mood of the BGM and will incorporate the WIRE05 logo.
- WIRE05 special menu graphic

I don't know how likely it is that someone will put this on the web and make it downloadable, but it might happen I guess.

Also the third gamma pack is out in Japan, for those who care.
Wish I'd waited the extra week for the Japanese version now...

Well, if techno is your thing I suppose it's good, but the ticket price is an arm and a leg there.

Wouldn't work on US WOP though, would it? Still interesting to see that kind of tie-in with a game. At the very least, i'm expecting a rip of the music track.
