BEST ANIMATED BACKGROUNDS EVER. That engine is marvelous, and the design is AWESOME. Best downloadable content ever IMO too.

PS: After playing ssx ot on ps2 and xbox, I confirm that the psp version is superior. ~60FPS + wifi multiplayer > better textures, models, etc. buuut at 30fps

Its just as simple as: FUN FUN FUN @ 60 fps > More graphical stuff @ 30fps IMHHO

PS2: Wipeout Pure at 60 (333) is is... well, you must see that.

i just don't understand why sony screwed the mobile gamers so royally by making the psp device itself region code free but the games uncompatible over wireless. here i sit with my us version of wipeout, everything unlocked yet can't compete against anyone here in germany. sucks big time.

At least we got the delta pack the other day.

PSP version is 30FPS. Stable 30FPS, but still. (yes, even the 333 clock doesn't change this)
It probably looked like 60FPS to you because on a small screen it's much harder to tell the difference.

I already had the American version of the game, but I immediately fell in love with the new tracks when a friend of mine showed them to me, so I went and bought the european version too.

Yes, I am a consumer whore. Videogames raised me that way.
