Hey guys,

College student here, so I'm looking to get a decent (and durable) pair of Wireless headphones under $100 or so. I've been looking around and seem to have narrowed down my choices to these two, based on looks and price:

MEElectronics Air-Fi AF32

Creative WP-450

What do you think? Anyone own one (or both) of these headphones? or any wireless headphones for that matter.

Very rattly.

Prone to breaking pretty easily too.

Cover one cup, shake it and there's a lot of rattling. They may of fixed that though.

They are about as durable as planned parenthood condoms.

They are good my cousin owns em and takes them to work and uses them every day.

I have the standard beats solo. I am pretty careful with them and they've lasted a year easily. I make sure I keep then in the pouch etc when transporting them. I have a small head though so if you have a big head, it'll stretch more and perhaps be more prone to breaking.

I got a pair for chirstmas last year, they're still going fine. There was a point where the bass died in one ear, but that seemed to somehow fix itself a few weeks later.

I guess otherwise they're holding up fine still after fairly heavy use (2 or 3 hours a day probably), though one of side of the ear parts moves very loosely - I can't remember if that was a day 1 issue or it happened after, but I never bothered to get it fixed because its not really an issue.

People will tell you in this thread that you're better off buying seinheissers or something, but if you're happy with the sound and comfort after trying in store (don't buy online, try in store first at least) I'd say go for it.

Not super durable, but if you take care of them, they should last a bit.
I would usually recommend something a bit more durable, but since you're set on those, I wish you the best with them! :)

Just don't drop them.

Does anyone own a pair of these headphones? Yea I know, overpriced blah blah blah. I think they look fantastic however and am planning on picking a pair up for BF for $115 from Wally World.

do you hear with your eyes?

The plastic can snap easily if you/someone really wanted to snap it, and the hinge can wear quickly, so just be careful.

I got a pair for free from my friend when he got some bigger beats. They do feel flimsy compared to the more expensive ones and one of my ear things that has music coming out of it fell out, put it back in and they continued to work fine after

Damn you google!

I bought a pair and after a while one of the ears stopped working unless I kept tapping it hard over and over. I want to assume that it's a loose wire in there, but i'm not sure.

You forgot one word there.

Why pay so much when there's much better quality for a cheaper price? There's a massive headphone thread where you can ask this. You're not some casual person swayed by brand recognition and it can't be just looks which you won't notice because they'll be on the sides of your head the majority of the time. Or was it BF who requested them?

My beats wireless are rattly as hell. Sure the Solo HD are the same.

If I could go back in time I would purchase a pair of these:

I got a pair of Bowers & Wilkins P5s as a gift the same time a friend of mine bought some Beat Solo HDs a year and a half ago.

Mine haven't given me any trouble, my mate returned four broken sets of them before he finally cracked the shits and swapped them for some B&W P5s.

Beats are poop.

Obligatory why not go for V-Moda Crossfade M-80 or Sennheiser hd25-1 ii post.

Not only do they sound way better, the V-Moda also look better in my opinion.

Neither of the 3. They all look like ass.

But yeah the beats are pretty much guaranteed to crack or break within 3 months. Especially with winter.

I dont own them obviously, but I have noticed that they are VERY plasticky. Build quality is not good. You can spend that $$$ on much better and durable cans.

Flimsy as fuck I turned in about 4 pairs of these back into best buy luckily I had a warranty. Go for the beats mixer headphone set there're fucking excellent and it's the closetest in terms of sound quality to the studio beats plus they don't need batteries like the studio needs.

Get one of those replacement warranties if available at the retailer. If the man wants Beats, let him have Beats.

The strip of gray rubber attached to them comes off pretty easily and the wire audio connection breaks pretty easily as well.

What happened to the 4th pair? Darn that's a horror story, maybe I'll get the 2 year warranty tacked on there as well.

I'd probably invest heavy on a pair of headphones if I was frequently air/train travelling but because I do most of my music listening when I'm on foot then simple earbud headphones that I can put in my pocket are perfect for me.

Which ones are Hayley wearing? ;)

The one in the avatar look like Sony studio headphones, like the v6 (I guess they look all pretty simmilar, if not the same). Out of the 2 photos of Hayley from the event, neither is taken under angle that shows the headphone enough.

;-)

Yeah do a lot of walking around as a student, I got these earbuds which are doing me fine for now.

V-Moda's are probably better for cheap cans, although I despise the way they look. If I had to choose cans in that price range purely on looks alone, I'd go for the AIAIAI TMA-1 X.

bumping this thread:) changed my mind about the beats, I want wireless headphones instead as I feel that those are more convenient. However the beats wireless are $280 and I don't want to spend that kind of cash.

wait, how do I edit the thread title?
