Off to play a gig tonight, along with Vespertine (who sound vaguely like Evanescence, but in a good way, going by their MP3 clips) and VanderFi (who probably sound like something as well, but I haven't heard). Yea, verily, there will be much rocking. And possibly a small amount of rolling.

I've got to find a few bands for a new small venue / bar, and a night is yours if you want it.

Whooooo! We rocked, at least after the first two songs, when the rhythm guitarist realised he had to turn his borrowed amp on.
Didn't get a recording, unfortunately, which was a shame given that it was probably the best performance we've ever put together. Mixing desk was down due to power problems. Still, got every indication we'd be invited back, so maybe next time. And we actually made money out of the whole thing. A whole tenner. I think we'll get it framed, after the thousands we've dropped into the bottomless pit of amateur music-making...
And Vennt, yes, we're definitely up for that - have to discuss when it would be. If we can, we might build a sort of mini-tour round it, do five gigs over a long week round the country, driving round in a big white van.
Edit: And you-know-who was great. We were a bit worried about the acoustics in the place (they call it 'The Cellar Bar' for a reason, you know...) but it was probably the best on-stage sound we've ever had.
