Think what he was saying what you were saying sounds retarded. No?

Exact quote regarding loot from ign in June

Fans of the Three Kingdoms period are going to want certain weapons for different warlords, and that's definitely something we want to deliver on. But when compared to Nioh, you won't have to constantly upgrade your weapon or armor, and it's not like each enemy will drop an item. It's not the main focus of Wo Long's game design, as we wanted the player to be able to focus on the action more easily. That being said, we do still have a large variety of weapons to choose from," Yasuda said.

Nice, must have missed it back in June.
Would be nice to see a system where enemies drop some item or currency that allows you to upgrade your weapons in different ways. So you still get that build variety but without the RNG crap and constant loot drops.

Everything can't possibly release in 2023. If these games don't get delayed 2023 will be a packed year.

Well you have to take into account that while most of the stuff delayed from 2022 will be releasing in 2023, a lot of stuff originally announced for 2023 will get pushed to 2024.
We've been doing this "next year will be the best ever!!!" thing for a long time now.

I hate to do "that" post, but Gamepass is going to have a great 2023 lol.
2023 game pass titles:
Stalker 2
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
Redfall
Starfield
Tokyo Ghostwire
Forza Motorsport
Lies of P
Curious Case of Benedict fox
Ark 2
Hollow Knight: Silksong
Minecraft Legends
Flinktlock: Siege of Dawn
Eiyuden Chronicles: 100 heroes
Texas chainsaw massacre
Persona 3
Persona 4 golden

You're not kidding, I'm sure there is loads missing, but these are the ones I can think off at the top of my head.

This looks amazing, very well done. I hope it has a lot of meat on its bones to last a while. Plus over 10 weapon types will be a blast to try out and learn. Having a more traditional find or buy loot system was always one of my wants for Nioh instead of the Diablo style, I'm hoping for fewer but more meaningful discoveries. The Morale system is intriguing and the Divine Beasts sound like familiars we'd get in Nioh. Super glad Character Creation is in. I hope it sticks its early 2023 landing.

Some may be disappointed it isn't Nioh 3 but not me, it seems maybe closer to something like Ninja Gaiden. Shorter, sweeter and replayable with excellent battles, not the tons of loot, stats and stuff in Nioh (plus the hardly compelling level/world design that couldn't support prolonged gameplay).

I'm happy that is not nioh 3, great saga don't get me wrong, but it never breached my heart for some reasons.

One thing I hope they do is make all abilities and weapons available in a reasonable amount of time.

I don't want to grind 500 plus hours to unlock everything I.e nioh 2. I don't want to be locked into a certain weapon because of lack of upgrade materials. I.e. souls games

Everything should be available in 2 or 3 playthroughs

And that's just what we know right now.

Most likely some other first party releases in H2 2023. Plus the Activision games when the deal goes through

And yeah, there are more missing

There has to be some sort of button command there that makes it look like a QTE there.
The enemy glows red and charges, I'm assuming it's just a counter/parry animation for lunging or charging attacks. Probably like the Mikiri counter in Sekiro. Looks cool, whatever it is

Truely delighted with Team Ninja. Even with all the impact from covid, Team Ninja is ready with another game after Nioh 2. Hyper focused on delivering great action gameplay and pretty good graphics.

Nioh and Ninja Gaiden had baby.

Team Ninja must be kicking themselves for giving this away to GP after the 16m sales of Elden Ring. unless MS paid them 50 million for it.

Yeah the market is definitely right to release difficulty games.

God hand and ninja gaiden released about 5 years too early ☹

Looks very good. I wonder if they are just afraid to touch Ninja Gaiden again?
It's mind blowing how far ahead of its time NG was. Many modern games with hack and slash focus still don't come close. This is welcome in the meantime but I really want to see the return of the NG series (kinda like DMC5 did knocking it out of the park ).

What game do you consider good and modern?
From XSX side, I would say Atomic Heart looks really amazing. In fact, I would say Team Ninja's older stuff, like Ninja Gaiden which was graphically impressive, looked more interesting.

Obviously graphics aren't the most important thing. I'll have to see how the game actually looks being played. So far it looks early last gen.

Oh your talking about graphic fair enough.
