Yup. Gunslinger and Blood Dragon were the last satisfying FPSes I played. Its been far too long.

If I wasn't broke I'd be picking this up day one. I've been waiting for a good single player FPS for too long now.
Oh god, I so wanna preorder this, but I'd like to see at least 2-3 reviews. On the other hand, I wouldn't wanna lose access to Doom beta because of hesitation.

I like the way it looks, I love 1080p@60FPS, story seems like it could be quite interesting and the atmosphere is just great, but for some reason, I'm still on the fence.

This is easily my most anticipated game releasing this year (that we know about). I really hope it doesn't disappoint...

Jumping in. Last gen I missed a lot of great games because of crappy reviews. Today I base it off my opinion of videos trailers and previews. If its at the point where im still on the fence I read gaf's pov on it.

Was gonna rent this from gamefly on ps4, but decided to preorder on pc from gmg with a 25% code for 45 bucks. Need dat m/kb combo with this game. Just getting watch dogs from gamefly on ps4 instead. Definitely excited to play this looks pretty damn fun.
Even if this gets pure 5/10 I will still buy it.

I pre ordered from amazon months ago and don't even have a delivery date yet. It still says: "Delivery estimate: We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date."

I'll go in blind. Even if it's a 6/10 or worse on average the game is still 15-20 hours long, which is pretty huge for an FPS nowadays. I will probably enjoy this game very much, even though I don't get to kill Nazis.

Echoing many other posters sentiments - it will be so great to have a single player only FPS with the focus on story, a decent length and just being a balls out action-packed rollercoater ride!

Not exactly a trustworthy source. Yes, schnittberichte is well known, but they tend to rely on "insider info" from gameware.at. Not only is that store rather...insistent on supplying "evil" stuff to German teenagers, they also advertise on schnittberichte.com.

Yep, the source for that is sketchy as hell. I would expect the UK version to be absolutely untouched.
I still wonder if we will learn what the unlockable mode will be ahead of release. I am very curious.

I read that both Xbox One and PS4 versions are 1080p/60fps. Is there any reason to go for one specific plataform (PS4)? I would prefer the One version if there is no significant downgrade.
same here. no date for mine either.
reviews. already got burned by thief and i am not willing to spend another 59USD especially because i have many other games to get this month
Don't necessarily expect just Metal, his solo stuff takes a lot from Allan Holdsworth's Jazz fusion styling as well, which is often quite expressive and eerie. Can't wait!!

No downgrade to my knowledge. Though you might want to hold out on the XB1 version until Digital Foundry speaks about that version and if it runs without any problems.
