Any word if there is a reward for having a TNO save file? Just curious. Would be nice to reward players who bought both.

I haven't heard of any official rewards. There will be some "fan service" rewards if you will, i.e. nods to things we saw in TNO and things that will make more sense after playing The Old Blood.

PC Requirements
Minimum:
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-2500 @ 3.3 GHz / AMD FX-8320 @ 3.5 GHz

Didn't New Order run on something like C2D? Tho all I can find is "You need i7 to run New Order" even when older stuff could run it just fine. I wonder from where sudden and rather noticeable requirement leap is coming from.

The New Order might have actually had a minimum requirement of a Core 2 Duo E8200 or AMD Phenom II X2 545, but I can't be sure. Anyways, the requirement might come from the fact that this game isn't being hampered by a PS3/360 version.

Also painfully reminds me how old my i5 750 starts to be, even when OCd to 3,8.

I love wolfenstein and TNO was fantastic. they absolutely managed to give us the best of modern and classic fps combined and added top notch gameplay.

I expected the dlc to be about frau engel in the alternate 60s, but I'm 100% on board with classic castle wolfenstein.

Downloading on PSN now :D About 10gb into the 39gb so shouldn't take that long. So excited to get back into this. TNO was such a cracking game.

FYI: GMG has PC version for $15 with this code -23OFFH-OLIDAY-WEEKND

That coupon actually only takes you down to $15.40. It's a 23% off coupon.

This coupon is 25% off and takes you down to $15.00 flat:

HUKD25-OFFBAN-KHOLVC

Sure, it's only 40 cents, but why not use it if it's there?

I hope this is good. TNO was excellent. But the franchise has a terrible track record and there's no impressions out there for this. I would not be shocked if it isn't as good.

Hated TNO but I'm craving some shooting action and apparently TOB addresses my primary issue with the main game (pacing).

Hmm.

I want to play this so bad, but I also want it on disc. Why won't the disc version release at the same time?!

Wolf 3D and Spear of Destiny are good games.
RTCW won a ton of GOTY awards.
Wolfestein: Enemy Territory was the GOAT for Free to Play games for the longest time.
Wolf 2009 was mediocre.
Wolfenstein The New Order was good.

What track record are you talking about? Because there was only one mediocre game and even that is debatable.

With that out of the way, a question I have pertaining to the thread - Is this just a reimagining the first couple missions of RTCW? Because going to the castle with Agent One and then going to the Crypt at the town is pretty much spot on.

Speaking the truth. Wolfenstein has always been a solid franchise.

Sums it up perfectly (^____^)

Only problem with Wolf2009 is that it's SP is played pretty damn safe... like Raven Software didn't quite no where to go with it and no one at iD gave a shit what they did or just didn't care enough. Just series of check boxes marked off.

Also didnt help that the MP was an utter POS that was outsourced to the company that made the shitty Bully port for 360.

Franchise means A LOT to me tho. Still remember playing Ep.1 on my dad's PC back in '93 :)
