I don't understand all of these people who have com back and are trying to cram Draenor Pathfinder or even leveling/building up a garrison into the weeks leading up to Legion. If you didn't stick around for WoD, why bother at this point? All you need to do is make sure you have a level 100 toon with at least 300 in each main prof, that's it.

I'm not complaining, I've been gladly taking people's gold for my Medallions and such, I just don't get it.

Why do you need 300 in professions?

I thought there was catch up mechanics? Hmm that sucks then, gonna have to level something up on the hunter. Lw/skinning I guess?

Takes about 1k gold and 5 minutes to get to 300+ in any ore profession, with alchemy being even cheaper.

Engineering on every character is the way to go.

I actually wanted to go engi bur I remember it being stupid expensive to lvl when I did it (in wrath I think)

You can level from 1 in Legion. You just don't get profession related world quests until 300.

And why do I want those at 100 when Legion launches? Im not being a smart ass, im legitimately asking, I haven't read anything about Legion besides what you guys have said in the last 5 days since resubbing

How expensive are the ingridients and what is the usual profit?

Farm your own & make 25k on each Onyx Panther.

It was expensive, but now? Funny we're talking about it, as I'm in the process of leveling engineering on my alt that just hit Draenor. Few thousand gold later, it's level 630.

Well, got the blue sea turtle and 110 coins in about five hours of fishing. The epic turtle continues to elude me for now. Hoping Blizzard don't patch it this week because I really want it :(

Although now I need to farm the rep for Nat Pagle so I can buy all the water strider mounts.

Argh I need the Purple turtle and 80 more coins!

You don't need it until 110, but I would argue that getting to 300 now and then having immediate access to those quests upon hitting 110 might be more efficient than having to do it after you hit 110.

There actually are some profession-related world quests I have unlocked on my DH on beta and I don't have 300 in the professions yet, but the 300 requirement may be for more lucrative ones? I don't know. Or maybe it only applies to crafting professions, cause the ones I've seen have more been just skinning related.

Finally back to playing my rogue! Loving Outlaw so far, will probably level using this spec on Legion. Assassination will be more for bosses and raids I guess. Never got into the Subtlety train.

Im playing on Argent Dawn - US by the way. Char name is Shanoa.

I assume you can still go to the "next" expansion 2 levels earlier?

58 worked for Hellfire, so 68 for Northend, 78 for whatever the first cata zone is I forget... hyjal right?

And since cata was only 5 levels how does that work for pandaria? Can you go at 84 or something?

I may be wrong, but I thought cataclysm zones didn't let you quest if you were below 80. You could kill the mobs, sure, but questing required 80 (unless htat's been changed).

Pretty sure that's been the case ever since with expansions, gotta be the previous expansion's level cap to start. (I may well be wrong)

Does anyone know why Warleader Tome completely ignores my pet no matter what I do as a Hunter? My dumbass pet won't even use growl to increase his threat so I have to spam it myself and he still never gets anywhere close to threat. In tank spec. Tome isn't a raid boss.

Anyone have weird freezing issues since the patch?

It freezes completely for anywhere from a few seconds to close to a minute.

I haven't had that, but I have experienced pronounced ability lag only with a couple classes - I noticed it was especially bad with my Paladin.

Question about the upcoming demon invasions. I saw mention elsewhere (forget where exactly, I want to say the wow subreddit) that the crate/bag/whatever you get from completing an invasion could potentially include a mount. Is that true? I know it could have a weapon, so I'm going to be doing it regardless, but want to know.

Searching doesn't seem to turn up much so I figure its someone being mistaken.

Just logging in for the first time since the patch. Do I need to log in as each and every character for each of that character's items to be added to my larger cosmetic wardrobe?

And can I reconfirm that once it's in the wardrobe (with a black background instead of blue), that it's then safe to delete/DE that item and make room without losing that appearance?

Yes and yes. Anything that you do not have the appearance for will be labeled with a message that you have not unlocked the appearance yet, so you'd know not to sell it.

Yes

and get the addon "Can I Mog It?" http://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/can-i-mog-it

Makes it super simple and has a check box that says "in collection" on the item tooltip so you know when you're good to vendor.

Thread super helpful and friendly to returning players feels good, especially since wow gets so much shit for lack of community and toxicity.

Well except dimp yelling because I play hunter wrong :(

No real yelling...I don't actually know what I'm doing on Survival yet. It's a new spec that will be a learning experience for everyone that could still change a lot. From what I've run on sims though Explosive Trap is the #1 DPS tool and if you don't spec to support it you are literally seeing like a 20-30% drop in damage.

One thing I loved about my time playing as Unholy in WoD was the hidden complexities of the spec and its stack requirements and energy system and rune generation was that it really made me think about how to play a class. I've always been good at following guides and figuring out the basics of what/where, but Unholy was the thing that made me really figure stuff out myself. Made me figure out how to get Necrotic Plauge to swap on Iskar, how to get the most possible damage out of the room before Tyrant, thinking about stuff like using AMS to get free energy off the Reaver's spawn cannons, how early I should pop AOTD or else it'd be wasteful. It made me think about the game and my character in a way that I never did. It made me feel flexible with it.

So far I haven't found anything like that in Legion specs, but there's still time.

I have my Paladin and Warrior sitting at 100 with a 91 hunter. I've just started going down the rare mount drop/transmog rabbit hole, I don't think I'm going to survive it :(.

Just did my first Timewalking dungeon with the new Prot Warrior changes.

...

Shattered Halls, 6k DPS, 100% uptime on Ignore Pain ('cept for at the end an assassin got me & I didn't have BR). Could seriously take half the instance on at once if there were no knockbacks & I had a chance to initially build IP up. Absolutely ridiculous.

Just looked at some Artifact weapon videos... yeesh Demon Hunter tanks get the shirt end of the stick compared to dps :/

Demo Lock is amazingly hilarious, I need that fucking ghost head in my life.

All the Surv Hunter spears look like shit. Some of the BM guns look cool but they butchered gun sounds ;_;

Unholy DK swords are godlike, Frost...not so much.

I only looked at the ones for specs I would be interested in.

Edit: Blood DK axes are ok-ish, the scythe looking one is fantastic tho. Affli/Destro Lock arts are mostly all great. Mark Bows are shockingly disapointing.

Guess I might aswell look at all the classes then.

On the other hand, Brewmasters have to be babysat pretty hard by healers now :x

It gets better with artifacts, but it's quite an adjustment for me

Palis won the Artifact war because all their shit looks dope, im legit jealous of Palis right now.

Prot Warrior looks fantastic (Blizz shield designs are godlike), Arms is alright nothing amazing and Fury look like 1handers but I thought they got 2handers? Might be a outdated video.

Monk mistwalker staves are ok, Windwalker I hate fist wrapons (but tye pulsating rock hands look great) and Brewmaster HOLY SHIT THOSE LOOK AMAZING AND ARE THEY HOLDING THEM OVER THE SHOULDER AAAHHHHHH

Edit: Mage shit is all great, dat shameless caster love between mages and locks lol

Just did Mana Tombs.

1st: Warr Tank, 7664 DPS, 63.6% of the damage.
2nd: Enh Shaman, 2612 DPS, 18% of the damage.
3rd: FrostDK, 2145 DPS, 13.8% of the damage.
4th: Aff Warlock, 836 DPS, 4.6% of the damage.

So yeah. While our endgame DPS is dogshit, Warrior tanks are kings of Timewalking right now.
