And if you do what changes would you love to see made in the game. Let's assume they are using the N64 version of the game as the base and then expand from there.

Conker is one of my favorite N64 games that I still play every often. I still have fond memories of my brothers, nephews and I playing the game over and having a good time enjoying it. I liked the Xbox version but it didn't have the same charm that the N64 version had, since they censored some of the contents. But it was still a good game in its own right. At the time it was a beautiful game to look at and I still think till this day it has stood the test of time.

I personally would love a remake. Unfortunately Micorsoft owns the IP and it doesn't look like they will ever do anything with it besides letting it rot in I.P graveyard.

Isn't there a remake already?

And nah, if we are making wishes I'd rather have something Jet Force Gemini. It's been a while since the last fun space adventure.

Such a fun time on my N64. Granted, it helped I owned the players’ guide since not being able to go to the final planet until you free every single one of the captives on all the planets is bullshit (and there are flat out hidden worlds on top of that).

It was thanks to Nintendo Power sending me a VHS tape promoting the game and Donkey Kong 64 that I even learned about it, and it was on the top of my Christmas list that year. Good times.

Yeah I guess it never took off as much as the other N64 Rare games. I love it, and would happily buy a similar game: space adventure that sits in between a cartoon and hyper violence with lots of action, exploration and collecting shit.
Played it at age 6. Bought it again last year. Still love the co-op. Ironically I still prefer the N64 version over Xbox and NSO versions. And to this day there isn't anything remotely like it. Feel like the closest is Ratchet and Clank.

The issue is that its design is dated and simplistic. Redoing it would likely change something that made it memorable and tick fans off. Just play the original with N64 or Xbox One/Series (Rare Replay) or even emulation.
Or just give it to Saber Interactive. I'd play it since WWZ and Space Marine 2 are great. And exploration elements in linear levels aside it very much was a fun 3rd person shooter.

Yes, I first played Live and reloaded on Xbox, since the N64 version was difficult to get at the time... And if I wanted to buy it but never saw the game with its complete box...

I lost the opportunity to buy the cartridge . It is one of my games that I am looking for the N64 and Xbox version.

Do I want to waste 10 hours before stepping in this impossible shit again?
No!

P.S. Rare, I still want my money back! Learn how to make games!

Reverse groomer.
there's already the Xbox remake and it still visually holds up today. What do we need another remake for?
Banjo is the more beloved of the 2 platformer rare IPs, Conker has a gimmick and it's fun for a while but its design simply doesn't stack up compared to Banjo

If it happened I’d play it for sure, but it wouldn’t be my first choice of a game that I’d like to see get a remake.

They should at least release the weird Xbox game as a remaster.

I want a Blast Corps remake with modern graphics and physics. That game rules:
There was Instruments of Destruction that released a few years ago that tried to invoke Blast Corps but it wasn't the same

Wish someone would just flat out copy the game premise and mechanics but add modern visuals. Such an obvious win.

No.
Theres Conker Live and Reload already.
Also, propaganda Xbox and Conker will never get along. Let Conker be a gem of the past.
Live and Reloaded was already censored to some degree. And the N64 version had astronomically better facial expressions for Conker and most characters.

Conker was one of Rare’s poorest N64 games in terms of gameplay. Do thing, repeat it three times, watch nonsense stuff happen, repeat.
Some stuff was actually hilarious - the Great Mighty Poo is legendary, I won’t hear otherwise, - but the game’s essence would be completely lost on newer generations.
I’d be happy with a 60+fps version of the original.

You must be talking at some scenes like little dick Troll and something. That didn't actually reduce my appretiation from that version. Its a surprisingly good and I still believe is way better than the original, specially on the controls departament. They even cared to give Conker different attire depending on the scene he was.

As stated multiple times, there is already a remake and it holds up very well via Backwards Compatibility. A remake is completely unnecessary. Even a remaster is unnecessary. Would love a sequel though.

The language in Live & Reloaded was significantly more censored than on N64, from what I’ve seen around (I’ve never played L&R myself). Pretty stupid to censor a couple of very minor bad words in the Great Mighty Poo song, considering the rest of the game features fellatio jokes, killing, dismemberment, drunkenness, pissing on enemies while drunk, and very loud (albeit offscreen) sex between a bee drunkard and a flower with some very hefty knockers.

I screwed up my playthrough of Jet Force Gemini. About 3/4 or more through I got to this boss where just no matter what I did, I lacked the ammunition to take it down and my save denied any possibility of backtracking or trying to get more. It was too long and jank to restart especially being steeped in DC games. I dropped it.

I'd take a remake to settle the score. In my view, this game has the best dog character that's ever appeared in a game, period.

Conker on the other hand. I finished and never even tried the Xbox remake, even when I had gamepass. Fun game, but one and done for me. It's mainly a big dirty joke so it's just not going to be as fun the next time.

I want remakes and remasters to stop. You can always play your old favourites with emulators and upscaled resolution. Don't let big gaming® tell you that older games feel dated or some other lies.

I think I would want a full-tilt game of the beach-head/refugee sniper minigame that was on it. My friend and I spent HOURS on that game. Getting a headshot in that was so satisfying.

Remake? No. Sequel? Yes! The sequel could be inspired by the Hangover movies, and it should definitely include Banjo and Crash, since Microsoft now owns all three franchises! :messenger_sunglasses:

You mean the game that already had a remake?

No. Just make a Conker 2. No need to retread the same story, especially for a game where most of its humor is referencing '90s pop culture that's prehistoric to a lot of people today or overdone (i.e The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan etc. references).
