If you have the US client already, you can do some tweaking with it and you can use that for the English version only.

Seems to me it won't be possible with the full game at release, but perhaps sometimes in the future.

Here are some quotes from the official WoW site:

"Players who do not use a method of payment accepted in North America and who do not have a North American billing address will not be able to play on US servers."

"For those who wish to play on servers outside of their region, we will look into providing a specific solution that addresses their concerns after launch."

Mmmm, what tweaking?

afaik you delete ( or rename ) the /WTF and /WDB folders and then edit your realmlist.wtf to use eu1.wow.battle.net.

But this can only be done with the UK client and not FR and DE one because of the language
