So I was flicking through the channels and I stopped USA and 40-Year Old Virgin was on. I watched it for a bit and it was at the part where the one black guy tries to buy something from Jay. Anyways, I was little shocked that USA let the whole "N-word" vs. "nigga" argument between the two play out without bleeping out the words. It was even more shocking that USA bleeped out other words like 'fuck', 'pussy', and even 'balls' in the same movie.

Since when did the N-word become more acceptable to use than pussy or balls?

It is a "bad" word, bad because it's offensive. Their choice of censorship is strange but there are content warnings before any programing so if you're worried about your kid (or any other person) running around talking like a sailor then use Parental controls.
