WoW: Where's Your Hearthstone?

Sun Rock Retreat for me. Beautiful country, a spot to fish, no real chances of a raid cause honestly, who cares about Sun Rock Retreat. AND no lag! YEAH! Sure it costs more money to get to Orgigigigmmammar but its worth the money.

The place where I have the most quests at that period of time. Kharanos (Loch Modan any day now) and Crossroads for me now

(lvl 13 Gnome Rogue & lvl 24 Orc Hunter -- don't want to invest a lot of time as when the game goes live I'll lose everything anyways)

Fail.

goldshire. as a druid, I have a free teleport back to moonglade whenever I wants, so goldshire keeps me close to IF and SW. plus, there's a leather trainer nearby and a druid trainer in SW.

gadgetzan. i'm doing lots of quests there at the moment, and as a mage, i'm able to dart around the eastern continent quickly, thanks to the teleport spells.

actually im bound in gadget too.. partially cuz i had some ungoro quests to finish off (im a mage so getting to the big towns isnt a problem), partially cuz i like warping in and blasting me some alliance

Gadgetzan on my Mage. Southern Kalimdor is the only place I have a hard time getting to.

Ironforge on my Priest. Hearth back-find instance group-run instance-repeat.

I'm bound to Booty Bay, but I think I'm going to bound it to Gadz soon. Need to start doing missions in the crater and meet Link-en ^_^

I'm one step away from Linken's sword of mastery!

^w^

Xroads for me. It's a good middle point to get everywhere I need to go on the cheap. However, as I get higher level and need to go to the alliance side more and more, I may end up changing my home base to Ogrimaar(so I can hop the boat quicker).

Ironforge. Its the hub for the entire world for an alliance player, you'd be stupid not to be bound there.

I don't pay for that much lag. =)

Bound to Southshore right now as we're hitting Scarlet Monastery 3-4 times a day right now.

Desolace.....ugh I hate ths place and the damn quests. Yet I had a quest that made me got from IF to Desloace and back....not a quick or fun trip nor is Ongeku which you go from Desolace to Swap of Sorrows then back.

orgrimmar for me, has been for a long time. the lag when the town loads is annoying but it's just too useful at my level since I have to travel far or use the zeppelins most of the time. Might change it to undercity at level 60 for easier access to stratholme/scholomance and pretty much the same accessbility for brd/brs as you get in orgrimmar (still gotta, or at least want to, take the zeppelin to grom gol).

on all my alliance characters its auberdine just because it seems like a Central point for all alliance areas almost.

on my horde characters its Orgrimmer just cause thats the best city in the game.

peace

UC. Access to Blasted or Eastern Plague > Lagrimmar.

I don't care at all about the AH now. I've got the best weapon I can possibly have (45 dps staff, +17 agi/sta). I'm working my way to get enough arcanite for the +62 attack power axe, but otherwise I'm set.

Also, Sunrock gets its asskicked nearly every few hours on my server. It's got shitty ass gaurds, and the entire rear of the town can basically be taken over without a single gaurd engaging.

Even with all the lag, my hearthstone has been bound to Ogrimaar since the beginning and I don't plan to change it - sure it's got lag, but it's got a forge, anvil, blacksmith trainers, the auction house, warrior trainers, etc. Everything I need (although I wish the forge/anvil were closer to the front gates) and the odds of a raid are pretty slim. Plus, it's nearby the zepellin launch point so I can get the other continent fairly easily.

It was Auberdine until I upgraded to a gig of RAM and noticed that Iron Forge wasn't so jumpy all the time. Now the only time I really get lag is when I'm in the AH making auctions at prime time.

Ironforge. Its pretty much close enough so that if I need to stone in a hurry I'm close to everything I might need. The place is lag-tastic though.
