charles dumped the cpu from what appears to be a *real* japanese set of golden axe (i suspect all the other japanese sets are world sets).. this set has a japan warning on startup, blood dripping on the player select screen, and japanese subtitles... it does *not* have an extra intro scene or blood ingame however..

That's crazy :lol The bloodthirsty 13 years old in me who was obsessed by Golden Axe back in the days want a hacked version featuring random decapitation in-game NOW!!!
