I'd love to see the number of units shipped to Japan and the number sold so far. I went to my local game store today, and they had plenty of Micro systems in stock. I picked up the Famicom version; couldn't resist it after seeing the box.

It's just another Gameboy, and an overpriced one, at that; seems hard to believe it's selling out.

Nintendo World claims that they'll get the Black and Silver versions on the 19th, Monday.

A nearby Gamestop claims that they'll get the Silver on Tuesday, the 20th, and the Black on the 26th...

Yeah, it seems that it may be the black version that has been delayed a week. On Gamestop, the silver version date is still the 19th. EB has the 26th for both on their website though. Interesting.

From what a distributor told me, they sold more in Japan than they expected, so they probably allocated more stock there

The initial shipment in Japan was 250K and we'll get the first week's sales number on Thursday.
