That would hold water if this years game was the same as last years on last-gen. They have actively made the game worse by gutting it. I don't think anyone was expecting anything other than a reskin, but they sure put some changes in alright.

THQuality > 2kuality

Do all 3 players have to be in the ring at the same time to do the move? I can only imagine this as being impossible with cpu controlled team mates. The double team moves were pretty much impossible in earlier versions with the dumb as cpu as your tag partner.

They are doing it to squeeze more money out of people. The less options people have to make wrestlers, the more they can make on dlc. There is literally no reason why a feature, that is already complete, has to be taken out of a game.
 
Waiting on a video of the triple powerbomb, some guy just said he did it and you need 1 finisher and all 3 guys in a tag. I'm hoping it's a corner move.

Nah, seems most are rushing through Showcase mode as more stuff keeps coming out about that. The Heyman/Punk combined entrance is kinda cool, even if the Heyman model is Vince quality.

I'm playing it right now. It's exactly the same as last year. All first time guys look like kind of well detailed CAWS, especially the hair. Sami Zayn's hair and beard are straight out of one of the PS2 games. The game actually feels clunkier, somehow. It's SUPER easy. Easier than ever. NXT arena is just the generic one you could make in last year's game with extra banners. If there is a positive thing to say, it's that the audio seems improved. Crowd noises and what not. Not in ring noises or commentary. The crowd chants OLE for Sami.

Maybe they are keeping last gens server usage to a minimum so that the larger next gen models can be uploaded and downloaded freely.

The people saying wait until the PS4/Xbone version reminds me of those Wii U fans that keep saying the next Nintendo game coming out is going to make the Wii U dominate.

The hair in these games is so atrocious. I hate it. It ruins everything. Everything!

Seriously, I would rather them not even try to make strands of hair, really. Just make it a solid helmet of hair if what you're doing is the best you can do.

If this community creations crap is in the next gen version, we'll have to create cartels to download each others and rate them highly for visibility. I've seen fantastic CAWs get ignored so limiting them to 5 will just put people off.

They should have just release a season pass that was priced higher and included everything. Maybe $30 for all the content. It really looks bad on them to not have the season pass covering everything.
 
Eeeeeeeesh.

Here's hoping all the lack of work that went on the last gen title actually constitutes a major overhaul for the PS4/XBO/PC versions. Doubt it, but goodness this is actually the laziest release I think I've seen in quite some time.

When SvR2007 came out only for 360, I remember thinking that they probably were having trouble putting the game out on new hardware. So it felt like they concentrated specifically on one platform that year, and it showed.

Time crunch, delays, new hardware = a pretty terrible mix.

I don't think anyone was hyped up other than people that really enjoyed 2k14. Cautiously optimistic was the best most of us got to.

I'm also not spending a penny on it and my last 3 years have been pre-owned, so once again, just a random person making stuff up.
 
Glitches so far: King and Cole getting stuck in a 3 minute loop of both saying the same line about reversals. Neville's wrist apparently shattering and doing a complete 360 when hitting the ropes. Bo Dallas throwing a ladder from the outside to the other side of the floor. Neville freezing and growing 3 sizes then shrinking back before going to the cut scene after the ladder match. Neville teleporting to his feet in the center of the ring after doing a SSP to the floor. Trying to run to the top rope with Neville and instead running into the buckle like I was Irish whipped.


Probably not glitches: Lana looks like Marsha Brady after getting hit with a football. The crowd regularly boos moves from faces and then just stops reacting for a while. Some of the NXT matches have no comments from King and Cole during entrances. I don't know if it is intentional or not.

Huh, wait, is "Meltzer" actually a censored phrase in the game? Someone had uploaded a Dave Meltzer CAW to the servers (that's weird in itself) and the last name wasn't Meltzer.
