There are a few. New to this is the curb stomp into RKO, then there's the top rope move reversal, which is unfortunately the same animation no matter the move, so no crazy SSP to RKO and then there's the launching one against a running opponent.

It's strange how overall the general vibe of this thread is the game is a mess, but most of the (limited) reviews have been positive. I'd be tempted to get this, but it seems like another year to hold out on.

There's a lot of people that are going to hate it no matter what. I liked 2K14. If you played that and liked it, then this one is much like that but better looking.

IMO, the worst feature is the mini-game trash in the game. Some of it's ok, but the submission holds are ridiculously difficult to recover from. Outside of that, I've played maybe 6 hours and only had one crash in CAW mode. Glitches, I've only had one where I floated in the air after jumping off a turnbuckle.

I think it takes a good amount of time for the problems to become really apparent, so in crunch review time right now with all the games coming out, I'm betting that not all the reviewers have sunk a lot of time in. Rent it when you have a free weekend or something and really dive in because even at that point, it can be polarising.

Showcase I didn't like just because it skips over my favourite points which they could have easily done something with due to the roster (Deadly Games tournament godammit! Booker T!)

Like career seems cool at first. I pointed out that although NXT wasn't as good as last year, the structure looked good for a nice long career. But other than one rivalry, every one has played out the same. Even the tag team ones were just the tag team versions of the same cutscenes over and over and it's a damn shame, because that one I had with Ryback chasing Seth, other than making me lose when Reigns should have been DQ'd, was pretty nice.

The cards every night also annoy me, like everything revolves around you and nothing else matters. So why not have Batista V Sting on Superstars, but the Wrestlemania card only has a tag team title match because that's the division I'm in? Load the rest of the card up with mid-carders and main evented by a former NXT and US Champion facing against Batista in HIAC with no build whatsoever and that's Wrestlemania!

I'm determined to find out if anything better happens at certain points. If I can win the IC and WWE titles before Fallout 4 comes out, I'll hold onto the WWE belt for a while and see if anything else plays out. I'm sure there's more scenes in there, just the logic is fucked so it doesn't say "He had this type of feud in the last few rivalries, let's have something different play out". If I make it to another Mania, I'm going to try and attack Taker too and see if anything special plays out there.

Had I heard the ref audibly counting, I would have gotten back in the ring.

Check out 12:45 in that video though, Vince never would have let Austin take a count-out loss.

Also JR on commentary (in the game) mentions it's Falls Count Anywhere before Patterson does.

I wish they would make it so when you turned the game on, you could pick either arcade or simulation tuning that would carry over throughout the game and online. Then all the people wishing for HCTP or whatever could have a game they would like better. They could even put sliders in for a mix and match approach as well.

I'm seriously thinking most of the reviewers don't understand wrestling, don't watch it, and play very little of the games. There is no way this deserves a 8+ rating.

After I got the pin, I came out from the back to confront Sheamus. Awesome booking!

I mean it's better than last year, certainly.

The creation stuff that's back in is all really good, but the gameplay foundation is still pish.

Sheamus Brogue kicked me while I was jumping at him from the top rope. Just got up and fucking owned me. This game has its moments.

Jumped into MyCareer. Not too bad so far but I can tell it's going to turn into a grind. Universe has been good so far. Better booking of matches and I like the rivalry screen after a match. I like that rivals can change automatically and that wrestlers get boosts for winning and change personality.

Had a few absolute slugfests with Kevin Owens tonight. I'm so excited to get my first title shot. Hasn't popped up yet but man I'm still only OVR 73 and working my ass off to get by in some matches and its great.

Depends on the review. I was critical of the boring career mode and the Austin stuff resulting in me PLAYING THE SAME GODDAMNED MATCHES IN A BILLION GAMES ALREADY in mine.

I can't play this game any more. It's totally dependent on reversals and the submission system is a killer for me. This was my first wrestling game since Here Comes The Pain. I'd rather play that.

Is there another alt attire glitch? I feel like my downloads are disappearing once i assign them to be an alt attire. I know there was the invisible glitch where someone actually disappears in the post match celebration. I'm referring to the actual alt attires not even be selectable pre match.

The showcase attires are accurate, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about. The retro characters are named after the most recent costume they have -- "Kane '01" is actually Kane '98-'01, "Undertaker '99" is Undertaker '98-'99, and so on.

You would just think that they would remove the 01 when recreating this match during the showcase mode. I guess they don't really give a shit about accuracy though.

On the plus side, the newer animations aren't bad like the opponent showing anger after kick outs. Showing damage after strikes on the chest area is also pretty cool. The core gameplay is still broken though.

I just have to say never preorder a game from Dell. They fucked me over regarding the preorder code for this game and basically told me it's not their problem after contacting them about it. 2k also told me there is nothing they can do for me, even after providing my receipt for the game to them. Now I don't have the Terminator preorder bonus.

Damn, that is pretty frustrating.

But to be completely honest, you aren't missing much :( I did one match with him, and it was a letdown.

Complaining about the year that they label a character really ranks up there in the most petty complaints I've seen about wrestling games. Especially when the attire is accurate to the era.

So I worked out the John Cena infinite reversals and sudden rivalry end issue as it also happened with Sheamus.

If you try to get into a rivalry with the champion and you're not ranked high enough, it happens. It would be nice if it said rather than pull that bullshit and waste my time.

The PS4 version should absolutely integrate with Spotify for entrance music. You get easy theme updates for main roster, and the real music indy guys use.

If I create a wrestler in My Career mode, does that character then get uploaded for anyone else to view/download online? Or can I rest easy knowing that my lazily designed wish fulfilment wrestler will never be seen by anyone else?

To answer my own question, ALWAYS DO THE FACE FIRST.

If you do the face last, the changes will never save.

Nice QA on that.
