Test as added to list of those released by WWE. Earlier today, WWE.com announced that A-Train and Billy Gunn had been released.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

uh oh.

According to article on parents.wwe.com posted earlier today, WWE is introducing two new Arab-American characters on Monday Night RAW. Muhammad Hassan and Khosrow Daivari are U.S. citizens who have grown up in America. They love their country. However, they now face a new and different kind of relationship with their fellow U.S. citizens as a result of being Arab-American in a United States still struggling with the tragic events of September 11, 2001. RAW will explore the challenges Hassan and Daivari face as Hassan tries to make his mark as a new WWE Superstar under the guidance of Daivari as his manager.

About time they realized they were all worthless. Maybe Test might have had some value. I'm surprised Stacy didn't fight for him.

Finally, wrestlers I can look up to!

It's about time. A-Train was a waste of space from the get-go, and Billy "Oh how far the King of the Ring has fallen" Gunn was useless outside of the New Age Outlaws. Funny how Test got the boot when Stacy is arguably the most popular girl on the entire roster. Guess she got tired of taking the Test. :p

Now all we have to do is dump that Rosey guy, give RVD a manager and push him into the US Title mix, and put the Heavyweight belt on Jericho and I'll be happy.

and WTF at this Arab wrestler gimmick...this could go well or blow up in the WWE's faces. I'm betting on the latter.

Last night I watched NWA TNA for the first time, on Urban America Television (WTF?)... So, is that basically where all of the WWE rejects and has-beens go now? I saw Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Road Dogg, Jeff Jarrett, and Jeff Hardy on the program...

I think we all said the same about the retarded guy...and it somehow worked out...until it outstayed its welcome...and now the latter applies.

Sigh.

Honestly, I don't think A-Train was ever that bad. It was really more mishandling on the WWE's part. Seriously, Prince Albert, Droz's piercer? That was doomed from the start. Aside from his shitty gimmicks, he was actually a pretty decent big man. He had some slick power moves and he definitely looked intimidating. I'm hoping he ends up in Japan where they might actually utilize his skills. I mean, shit, they made a star out of Jamal.

I thought it was common knowledge that the WWE handled talent kind of badly =P. A-Train is a decent big man but he never was utilized very well. That hair on him was pretty nasty though. I'm sort of glad I don't have to see that on TV anymore.

Listen to this man. IIRC, he's in a faction with TAKA, Bull Buchanan, D'lo Brown, The Wall, and some others...

The Wall died like six months ago.

Anyway, now TNA can put Road Dogg and Billy Gunn back together! Because at TNA, it's 1999 all over again!

Shawn Daivari is a pretty good worker. I have a couple of his matches from ROH.

Billy Gunn? Wow, and only 4 years to finally do it!

Try 14...he's been a stiff from minute one. When Road Dog is carrying your ass in a tag team, you fucking suck as a wrestler.

And yeah, WWE fucked up badly with a lot of talent. Vader was one of the biggest fuckups I've ever seen...a monster heel in WCW, reduced to wrestling a diaper-wearing Goldust in WWE. :lol Of course he became huge once again when he went to Japan.

too bad about Test, but how long has the guy been out for?

More importantly, just a month ago the WWE had JBL "buy" the ministry out from under taker.. and then they decide the Viscero is better served by helping christian attack shelton benjamin? Seriously, WTF?

Whoop de doo!!

They get rid of 3 useless hosses and they bring in people like Gene Snitsky, Heinderecherinchric or whatever the hell he's called and the upcoming Tough Enough winner.

Situation goes from bad to bad.

Yeah, but Billy Gun was not only a useless Hoss, he was a useless Hoss that tried to force himself into ME matches. Besides, Heidenreich and Snitsky are HILARIOUS even if completely unintentionally.

Seriously? Hm, I wonder why I didn't know that. Then again, I didn't really care for him when he was alive so his death really means very little to me. Was he in that faction prior to his death though? I coulda swore that I heard he was and was going under the name "Gigante"...is that someone else?

He wrestled as Gigantes.

I am upset that they didnt even try to use A-Train when they moved him to Raw. He was a solid mid-carder on Smackdown. But Test and Billy Gunn should have been let go a loooong time ago.

That Mohammed Hassan guy has a great look to him. They didnt need to go with the controversial gimmick, but it remains to be seen whether any good can come of this. They might possibly be able to pull this off.

Yeah, he was working an All Japan tour as Gigantes, and died there.

I agree.. the new guy looks like he could be an awesome heel, but this gimmick has nothing but trouble written all over it.

The gimmick was doomed for controversy the moment he uttered the words "9/11". Even my wife, who's not a fan, thought it was really tasteless. I did as well, there are other ways to get a heel character over. That isn't one of them.

I did like Edges full fledged heel turn last night though. Good entrance music, I approve of Alter Bridge, and a newfound mean streak. Should add a much needed layer to his character.

Scott "Flash" Norton has made quite a name for himself in Japan. He won the (I believe) grand prix titles a couple of times. He was majorly successfull over there, not sure if he's still wrestling or not.

He made a TON of money oveer there and was very over with the crowd due to his immense power, much like Bob Sapp is today.
