He's going to be in the bottom 2 the rest of the way. The audience hates him now so its only a matter of time. Acted like a complete shit.

Yeah, I'm surprised Simon stuck by him. Simon, more than anyone up there, knows how television audiences work. He should know that Astro just pissed on whatever chance he had. He'll be in the bottom from now on just so the audiences can see him freak out.
 
Astro has pride in himself and what he does. You can't blame the dude for being so distraught at being voted as bottom 2 when he has received nothing but praise for every performance he's done.

He overreacted and showed his immature side but he is only 14 and that should be noted. This is a stressful situation and he let his pride get in the way. Simple mistake by a young talented person. I'm sure his mom will beat some sense into him haha.
 
No doubt Astro will be in the bottom two next week. The problem is, if he fixes his attitude, the judges will never kick him off. Tonight was the night to teach him a lesson.
 
My fellow X Factor compadres and comadres, tonight the show has redeemed itself. This is what I signed up for.

A+ drama.

There are contestants his age and younger on this show who have handled criticism with grace.

I hate to say this, but a spoiled little rapper with an attitude problem is the last thing American television audiences are going to rally behind. Lakoda Rain just got another week.

He totally dissed the voters, as if America is now unworthy to bear witness to his genius. Most of the contestants who win these shows are overbearingly humble to the point of groveling. Astro just killed his chances of winning.

Valid point. The more I think about it, the more I blame the judges for inflating his ego. The little dude's been on fire lately and has not received a bad review so far yet in the show iirc. It's safe to say that this coupled with his confident attitude brought on this whole debacle.

Not trying to justify his immature actions (which may end up ruining his chances) Just exposing the fact that feeding young people like this with this kind of reinforcement can bring about situations like this where they feel entitled and bigger than they actually are.

Same thing with Drew honestly. I gagged when she went on her "but no one has ever told me I'm bad!!" spiel.
 
Astro just fucked himself. God damnit! He was easily the most consistent and entertaining contestant on the show. He just went all Kanye up there. Superstar attitude for sure, but it's no good for a reality show.
 
My biggest problem with Astro is that he acts, and has acted since day one, like somebody owes him something. His mentality is the complete opposite of the people he claims to want to be. While rappers like Jay-Z, Kanye, Biggie, etc. worked hard to get where they are at. For many years. He's just a kid that was raised on the current form of celebrity and I hate it.

Hopefully his mother is waiting backstage, on cue.. fully ready to get in to that bratty behind. Because even with the immense talent Astro possesses, his little ass won't make it far anywhere in life with that shitty attitude. The level of disrespect he showed not only to the audience and judges, but also to the countless individuals who would almost give anything to have just the slightest opportunity to be in Astro's position, was simply fucking disgusting. And considering he would show his ass against Stacey (someone who has fought all her life to finally have chance to shine and truly appreciates the moment), shows he has little compassion as well. Oh.. and being 14 is even more of a reason that he should have far more respect for the adults around him and should be put in check when his narrow ass is out of place (like tonight).

Astro > Everyone else on that show. That kid is real. I was sending his top 10 performance to a bunch of people who don't watch X Factor and they were amazed by how good he is.

He should be on the front line of hip hop like Tyler the Creator and Childish Gambino. America has 0 taste. Do they not like him because Rihanna isn't on his tracks? Does he need to rap about making money or does he need to say he came out of Rehab? ZERO TASTE.

EDIT - Oh and that includes everyone else in this thread that just posted that shit above me.
