Well, should I be getting excited or what?

After the MTV event, E3, Leipzig, and TGS, I have felt somewhat letdown by Microsofts showings.

Will we see "gameplay" of PGR3?

Will they have more "playable" stuff in general?

Only like 7 weeks or so until launch.

I am just hoping to hear some good impresions of the games.

I need to solidify my game purchase list. :)

Well, they're touting X05 as the show where games like PD0 will be front and center, so I'm sure there will be lots more playable stuff (if not every launch title playable). I think the floodgates will open simply cause it's way too close to launch to hold any cards.

This is an old and widly inaccurate list.
But yes, if you are even remotely interested in Xbox 360, then you should definitely be excited about X05 !

btw I was reading a local free Toronto newspaper yesterday and in the business section they had a bit about Ubisoft. Now get this, Splinter Cell 4 is being developed in China! Ubisoft wants to make games for the Chinese market/or get the Chinese interested in game development. They were looking for A.I. engineers in China.

This list does was already inaccurate when OXM released it, and of course it has *nothing* to do with the games being presented at X05

I want EPIC to announce a port of Unreal Tournament 2007, 'cause I sure as hell would rather buy a 360 then spend double the amount to get UT07 to run like sex.

im just tired of the waiting game. everybody keeps touting the next sho as the show to see. e3 was a let down and for the most part so was TGS, i want to see fully playable versions running on the latest dev kits of all the launch games. launch is less than 2 months away and i want to know what im gonna buy at launch.

You'll get it. All launch titles will be playable at X05. This is a major news but also (and most important for MS) RETAIL event where buyers will decide for a lot of stuff.
 
I don't care about pics, movies, playable demos, or anything like that.

All I want is a CONCRETE list of WHAT games are coming out WHEN. No fucking 'launch window'. No, "Holiday 05." I want to know what games I can pick up Nov. 22nd. Is that really so much to ask?

I heard about two thousands, but I really don't know if it's true or not.
Funky: Well, they are bringing a LOT of people, but the number of people per magazine/site is restricted.
 
As much as I'd love to see another KI, I don't know if I could stand the forum reaction. The whole "as deep as a brick", "shitfighter" and "buttonmasher" would be too much for my heart.

You know, I am kind of understanding Stinkles.

Dont let forumites get to you especially when it comes to RPGs or fighting games. I love MK: Deception while most on here think it's pure shit. Who cares? You like what you like.

And while I know KI3 will be blasted by hardcore fighters around the world I personally don't give a shit. Give me my 60 hit combos, give me my Fulgore, give me KILLER INSTINCT 3! (with KI 1 / KI 2 arcade perfect translations as unlockable secrets)

Every single publisher will be there. Oblivion, Top Spin, Amped 3 will obviously have some demos.
As for Links, I don't know what to thing anymore.

Damnit. It would have been a dream come true for a next-generation Crazy Taxi. Bad Religion + The Offspring + crazy cars that handle craxily + crazy announcer = purchased.

True, but showing Banjo (said to be being worked on by the Ghoulies team since this game has been released) in some way during X05 would be a good way to show that Xbox 360 has more "Nitendo like" games coming other than Kameo.
No showing Halo 3 makes sense when you have PDZ to promote, because people already know there will be lots of FPS on the system anyway. Not so for games of the type we did not see much if at all as exclusive on the old Xbox, eg platformers.
Wow, did my last sentence make any sense?

heh yes.

But why woudln't they show Halo 3? Yes PDZ is important, but if they want this launch to be as big as they can possibly make it, they definately need to tease with some Master Chief. IMO anyways.

I totally agree with you. Lots of people think it would take the attention off of PD0 and hurt sales. They're on crack of course; can't think of a time when a game coming out 1-2 years down the road hurts sales of a launch game, but there's been a few threads about it and lots of folks think that.

I don't know, if Halo 3 is shown in any form what do you think will be the big title on IGN?
"Perfect Dark Zero unveiled !"
or "Halo 3 ZOMG !!!!!111111" ?
 
They should at least show a tease of Halo 3, just to whet our appetites, I mean it's what we deserve after that ending.
