Amsterdam is a gorgeous city. It's a shame this isn't the main draw for North American tourists. :D I'm not against drugs, but pothead "jokes" always getting brought up in the context of Amsterdam is pretty tiring - I vote for the next comedian to be temp-banned. :lol

iawtp. Not with the banning, but with the shame of 'tourists' visiting amsterdam for the wrong reasons. Like X05 !

Blim, you should boycott X05 and instead provide us some hd footage from Van Gogh museum, for example !

Actually, no, forget what i just said.

Why are you so uptight? It's all in good fun. No one is getting hurt and no one is violating the TOS.

Me, uptight? You're the guy who was upset by Sony's "Passion" ad. :lol

But enough of this minor derailing.

Comparing insulting Christianity/Christians (religion in general too) to jokes about Amsterdam is preposterous.

Why would a joke about religion be any worse than a Joke about city? If he loves that city and doesn't care about religion, he has as much right to complain as you.

If Jesus was alive today he would be in Amsterdam... See how nicely I combine these things to upset everyone... :lol

I'm in Amsterdam right now.
You're only my disciple! You don't count. I am in Amsterdam now too, but I am on the fourth, and you are on the third floor, so who's closer to the heavens? Me!

This is the most insane thing I have ever read.

I'm closer to the coffee shop, so I win.

I found a PDZ music clip for the "subway retrieval" level over at Gamespot. Their site has been really buggy recently, and I haven't been able to go back and locate the exact URL. I think that they might have just been doing a test with this clip, because it was the only new file that they put up for PDZ.

Well, the clip sounds great. It really shows that MS is putting a lot of money into the music for PDZ like they did with Kameo. It's by Dave Clynick, in case anyone knows who that is.

If Frodo shows up or Peter Moore shows a tat, my head will implode from the negative pressure of anti-hype. C'mon MS, get this shit right. prays

Microsoft has set up a hype avalanche that's only going to grow stronger with each passing month.

X05 - Tons of showings/announcements
November - Xbox 360 launch, to be counteracted by whatever Sony decides to show, first playable PS3 games?
Before the end of the year - Probably more Revolution news, possibly new game announcements
January - May - Xbox 360 awesomeness counteracted by Sony's hype machine, even more Nintendo tidbits revealed, possibly the first Revolution screenshot.
March - Possible PS3 launch, Microsoft shows first trailer of huge (duh) X360 to counteract
May - E3 is here and Sony/Nintendo/MS blow everyone away. Revolution is playable... Firmly established Xbox 360 partners for the rest of the generation, all new franchises on the PS3, and Revolution playable.
Later in 2006 - Revolution launch.

I'm still holding out for Virtua Fighter 5, and a Daytona USA 2/Scud Race Model 3 compilation disc

Just to make sure I continue my tradition of hoping for titles that have no chance of being shown, here's to some Killer Instinct 3(60) and Banjo-Kazooie 3(60) news. :D

...and SH5 would be nice too. :)

HAHAHA got it? I'm french, and I surrender. I'm a funny guy !

Oh Blim, if we take the French game journalist as a surly, unfriendly, oddly dressed, Galoises-smoking stereotype (think, Joystiq, circa 1994), then you are the least "French" journo ever.

Hmmm, this definitely reminds me of sebastien hamon (aka seb), who worked for Joystick at the time. Incredibly funny guy, but he killed himself last year :(

we Belgians are gonna be last to arrive it seems, we only get to leave this afternoon. Ah well, just two hours in a Thalys is all it takes :)

can't wait
