I see your point, but you might be in the minority. I see Madden as the big x-factor this Xmas season.

When X360 comes out in the fall with next gen Madden 06, I doubt that many gamers and football fans would want to miss out on it and have to wait til Madden 07 on the PS3 to play a next gen football game.

usa = world? nobody cares about madden in europe and asia. and even americans can buy the games on ps2/xbox. these pushed up games, doesnt sell systems.

I think they should've just done both for their headliners- alpha stuff, and CG. IOW, this is where we're at now, this is where we will be by launch.

Actually they did the same thing with the Xbox. They didn't have the GPU done at E3.

yup, and they were right back then as well. remember the laughing at Halo at the e3 before Xbox launch?

anyways, this news is obvious. ATI doesn't have a way to emulate their GPU in the Xbox 360... so they're stuck with current gen PC cards, which suck by comparison.

nVidia uses their SLI technology to properly emulate their PS3 GPU, which gives it a substantial advantage.
