I'd imagine it would work much in the way Nascar has teams. You're in seperate cars, but you're racing for the same team.

You'd think they'd focus on launch games at the Microsoft event though, so my guess is not X05, but later after launch.

Dead Rising NEEDS online coop. A large city map where you are dropped in random locations with the zombie plague just starting. Where you have to find other survivors loot gunshops etc and escape. Could be a lot of fun if done well. Plus options like changing to time frame to middle of plague etc.

Kind of like Outbreak except without the crappy resident evil online capcom vision.

Not going to happen, but it's a dream.

I was wondering IF and WHEN we hear more on this. I hope we get the detailed scoop real soon. I can't take it anymore. Now back to the subject....

Online co-op should be a no brainer for games where it makes since. I would think since MSFT is pushing HD so hard, they would want to do this to keep people from splitting the screen. Ever since XBL and cool co-op games, I can't stand split screen.

You know what I would think would be reallyl kick @$$?! An online co-op light gun shooter (i.e. Time Crisis 3, Virtua Cop 3, HotD2, etc.). You could log on and grab a partner and blast away to your hearts content with a pal. But that would mean, that MSFT would have to commit to making a good first party light gun (in the US don't hold your breath), and that the said gun would have to be HD compatible since that's the big push. So as you can see my dream has died before it could even grow wings and fly.

Are you listening Sony and Nintendo?! I'd pay big loot and give up my first born for something like that (if I had a kid that is).
