Xbox 360 launches November 4th??

A week or so earlier than I thought. This might indicate that they expect better stock quantities than I thought they'd have.

The Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system places you at the center of the experience. Available this holiday season, Xbox 360 ignites a new era of digital entertainment that is always connected, always personalized, and always in high definition.

Launch Date: November 4 2005

If it’s true, and why not, that puts it about 111 days away as of this Friday.

makes sense. 3 weeks before black friday. enough time to cause mass hype then sell out completely by the end of thanksgiving weekend. i gotta preorder 2 more!

I'd be very surprised if it was that soon. The framrate problems (among other various things) on some of the games (like Kameo and PGR3) didn't seem to be mere inconsistencies that could be fixed in twp-three months or so. I'm not sure I believe this, but we'll see.

Clearly with these problems launch must be 4 months away. 3.6 is crazy talk.

It will launch on the 360th day of the year.
Boxing Day 360.

I guess we know what day GameCube Zelda will be launching, then. Was Sony planning to release RE4 for PS2 on Xbox360's release date, too?

So f-ing true. I remember working at EB on 26, October, 2000. I couldn't beleive how well Zelda MM sold. Jesus, even I bought it (as well as my un-bundled ps2)

Same with 1999 and DC vs. FFxiii

It's going to be an awesome holiday to sit back and watch the madness.
