those are the same games :/

Nope. Different games.

Tecmo Team Ninja release priority as of now:

1) DoA4
2) Ninja Gaiden 2
3) DoA Code Chronus
4) DoAX style game (This could come out anytime after DoA4)

Damn, it will the most expensive launch ever for me. Usually I buy only two or three games at launch...

Yeah Xbox 360 launch scares me, too. I could end up blowing 600-700 dollars or more before everything is said and done. Most I've spent on a launch is 350 in the past.

Ultimate Spider Man? What's this?

It was officially announced last year. Basically we get a new Spider-Man game every year. Ultimate Spider-Man in 2005, Classic Spider-Man in 2006, and Spider-Man 3 in 2007. The first is based on the more recent comic series, the second is based on the classic comics, and the last is based on the third film.

Right, because just buying 1 or 2 titles at a time, then waiting three weeks for CheapAssGamer to post a $20-discount of the rest isn't something you should do.
I never pay $50 for a game anymore.

Son of a bitch.. theres like 5+ must have games there. :(
And this list is faaaaaaaaaaaar from complete, with games like Shadowrun, Gears of Wars, and the MGS Japan lineup for example :)
There was a much better list a few weeks ago, but I can't seem to find it.

friggin sequel city, that list is gasping for some originality

(yes i see the godfather. it's basically GTA, coppola already denounced the game)

You would have an excellent point. Except for the fact that about 90% of XB2 games currently in production are not on that list.

The titles in bold are the only I care to see.

He, it makes sense that we only know (or guessed) the sequels. The new franchise will be unveiled in due time, and of course unless there is a leak, how would you know it exists ?

YES
- Perfect Dark Zero
- Dead or Alive 4
- Project Gotham Racing 3
- Splinter Cell 4
- Burnout Revenge

MAYBE
- Elder Scrolls IV (Unless the Xbox version's graphics are THAT much better, keyboard + mouse and TES Editor for the win)
- Quake IV (I have faith in the project but a well crafted FPS is hard to make these days with so much quality around)
- Dead or Alive Code Chronus (I have no clue what the hell this one is about)
- Halo 2.5 (Depends on how upgraded it is and if it's offered free via an HDD upgrade)

NO
- Need for Speed Most Wanted
- THUG 3
- SSX 4
- EA Sports lineup
- Ultimate Spider-Man
- 007: From Russia With Love
- The Godfather

Look, I've let this slide for an entire generation, but with a new hardware iteration comes a new chance to get things right.

There is no such thing as an XBox.

It is an Xbox. Big X, little b, little o, x.

Please take note.

Gimme Perfect Dark and Oblivion and I'll be set until '06. I don't think there's any way in hell the latter will be out this year though.

I can't imagine that there will be ANOTHER Splinter Cell game released this fall. They've been churning them out much too quickly. Also, do you really believe that Team Ninja would have TWO games ready for launch?

Unless I've gone crazy this is supposed to be a "confirmed" release list, not a "launch" release list...

What's up with that Sega game and Kameo-Elements of Power or Sabreman Stampede?
Like I said, this list is far far far (*100) from complete. Even some launch titles are missing.
As for Shadowrun, no it's not a launch title. It's planned for Q2 2006, but I guess it may be late (but I don't think it would be a good idea to have it compete with Halo 3, for lots of reasons).
Could some try finding the excellent list that was compiled and updated a few weeks ago?

I love the Splinter Cell series and all but Ubi needs to slow the fuck down. I havent even had a chance to play Chaos Theory yet and they're already talking about a new one?

Silicon Knights should have a game ready for launch, since they hope to double their sales volume _this_ year.

I remember that. I think it was funcojoe or openmouth that compiled it. the prob is there's been so much activity/revelations since then. lemme try to find it...

Any platforming or rpgs for change for this western system? ES4 dont count ,clearly I get that on pc way before touch on console. Give me BK1 remake at least and alliegance is sold for life. Maybe decent KI as well.

And what the fuck has Coppola done recently to make you take his word on it? Bram Stoker's Dracula back in 1992?

Actually, what the fuck does Coppola even know about video games?!
