If you like rouge-lite games then you should love it. If you don't like those types of games then it might be touch and go but still worth trying out.

Will definitely buy it on Steam/GOG when it's next on sale to show support.

Seconded. Went in not knowing a thing about it and the game is amazing. All the characters play very different. Haven’t tried co-op yet.
