There is a massive 360-related screwup on Live tonight/this morning/whatever time it is where you are. Many, many, MANY people are unable to play anything online or send messages through XBL even though they are listed as having Gold accounts. Tech support will instruct you to run the connection test, which is supposed to fix it, and then when that doesn't work, to recover the Gamertag, which COINCIDENTALLY WIPES OUT ALL YOUR SAVES AND ACHIEVEMENTS. You will also have to reinstall PlayOnline if you're playing FFXI, weeee!!!

So anyway, it's not your fault, so don't try to fix it and hose your profile.

Wiping your gametag doesn't wipe your achievments, those aren't stored locally. and I thought with the latest patch it doesn't wipe your saves anymore?

I know how you feel. I wasted so much time unlocking the tatami stage only to find it's not a tag stage and still doesn't add a random option to tag mode.. If my save got corrupted I would be very :<...

I noticed the FF11 beta was running a wee bit rough around the edges this morning when I first logged on. Everything had a extra second or two delay. But by the time I got rolling on my grind to RDM 12 it had smoothed out completely. Not sure if it's related to your issue though.
