Xbox Live cancellations problem

For a whole week I tried to cancel my Live account via the dashboard but was never able to access the subscription page. I always get the "Unable to continue due to technical difficulties. Please try again later" message. Now I can play on any Live games I own with no problems at all.

My account renew itself tomorrow, so yesterday I wanted to call directly at 800 4MY-XBOX to cancel right away but afaik my parents were gone with the credit card I used to make my Live account. So now comes today, the final day to cancel my account.

I call right away with the credit card in hand and choose french service (the reason being I'm from quebec and I never speak in english) A couple of option later I get an automated message telling me that no one is availabe and that I should leave my name, phone number and email adress so they can contact me in the next 24h... I do so but I can't just wait and hope to be called.

I call back and choose english this time. After once again a couple of options I get to the Xbox Live account part and finally talk to a girl. She ask for my number so I give her and she then tell me that she can't find it in her database. I give her again and again and the number really can't be found. I then tell here my gamertag and it also can't be found in the database.

Master Card can't block the payment. What am I suposed to do? I'm going to call again later in the day but I just don't know what the hell is going on.
 
I would just leave the message or call back. I have never heard of anyone having problems getting there credit cards refunded.

In fact I had my account automatically renew for my second year. A month later I won a year of Live as part of a promotion in a copy of Splitner Cell PT. I entered the code for the free year and was shocked to see that my card had been refunded the auto payment from before.
