Oh LEGO LOTR, why could you not be the same price as Batman2? I know it's like a £3 difference, but the £10 barrier is strong for me. If it's over £10, then it's not a firesale.
any guesses on what the Witcher 2 will go on sale for? it's only 30 at retail these days, right?
if it's 5-10, I'll definitely buy it again.
Hmm Sports 2 is tempting, but nothing for me today.
That is not how GoD works. As someone else in this thread mentioned, it works just like that for every GoD game.
Basically you only download the full image of Disc 1 and then download (sometimes) several DLC packs through the ingame DLC menu to get the content from the other discs. Every game that comes to GoD gets a title update to support this DLC.
LA Noire was the first multi disc game to hit the service. You downloaded the first disc 6.67GB and then downloaded the rest of the cases through the ingame DLC menu.
So yeah you always need to have disc 1 on your HDD. You can't play the rest of the content without it.
Microsoft needs to do these kind of sales more often.

Controversial comment incoming: I think with the previous Xbox One policies we would see deals like this far more often after a year or two into the system's life.
They probably will, honestly.
Their last good sale I probably picked up like 4 or 5 games, like GoD games too. Seeing revenue pour in from these types of sales is likely going to cause more.
Then again, this could also just be a sort of 'end of the system blow out', but I like to think that Microsoft will continue to do this even on the Xbox One.
Honestly, I still believe BOTH Sony and MS want a completely digital eco-system eventually. I think they will both gradually expand their offerings of digital releases with exclusive content, more sales and incentives(Hell, I posted before that I have bought over 20 games between this MS sale and the last Big one) to begin to move over all those people hung up on physical copies to start to buy digital.
I have converted this past year or so and I am buying around 75% of my games digitally on both the PS3 and X360. I preordered both the XBox One and the PS4 without preordering ANY games. I plan on getting them all Digitally.

Ok for Kinect Sports 2, and probably Table Tennis (I have sold it recently after not playing it for years, but for 3 I can buy it again just in case I want to get back to it).
I hear good things about the Lego games but... no, I definitely don't have the time.
I'd also do this if the prices were more sensible and reflected the lower cost of releasing them digitally.
Putting up games for £50 when the retail version can be bought for £35 or less is ridiculous and also not adjusting the prices to reflect the much lower price at retail is also pretty annoying.
This is the third such sale, I think we'll see more, at least on 360.
I'm using points and I have more than enough left.
The website is unable to purchase Table Tennis for me or some strange reason. It says 'Sorry, your purchase cannot be completed at this time'. Any ideas? (I'm in Australia)
Wow, Bulletstorm campaign is awesome. I had no idea from the shit marketing and crappy demo.
UK prices?
That's how I felt when I sat down and played the full game. Demo makes it seem like a generic arcade shooter

Be careful I think that was yesterday's deal!
So just how much space will I need for Witcher 2?
Just to clarify for those interested in The Witcher 2 from Games on Demand - you only need 7.8gb free to install the game. The retail game was spread over two discs, however I own the game on Games on Demand and I can confirm that there's no 'extra DLC' packs or anything of the sort to make up for the missing disc 2.
It would seem that CDProject reworked the game somehow for the download version to fit it all in 7.8gb. I can't say if there's any more compression or anything vs. the disc version, though there is doubtless some (small) differences.
I also own Max Payne 3 from Games on Demand, and that games works differently: you download disc 1, then disc 2 is split up into three ~2gb DLC packs that you download also, giving a total game size of ~12.5gb on the hard drive.
There are instances of Games on Demand versions being smaller file sizes than retail versions, though. For example Need for Speed Hot Pursuit takes up about 6.6gb if you install your disc to the hard drive, but if you purchase the Games on Demand version it's more like 4.2gb.
I'd suggest to cue it up while you're at work. Also, he might be in different timezones so the deal may still be up.
Nothing for me today. I want to know how much Bioshock Infinite is going for.
