Is that game any good? The Strike Suit one.
Has anyone who's purchased either Strike Suit Zero or Lego Hobbit tried snapping them? I noticed in Chris Charla's tweeted picture showing Strike Suit Zero's store page, it says Snappable, as does Lego Hobbit. Checked some other older games on the store and they don't say snappable.
It means things can be snapped to the game like YouTube or TV not that the game is actually snappable into the smaller quadrant.
That's what I assumed but it seems like a weird addition to the Store details since pretty much every game can have a different app snapped to the side.
Im hoping we will get some more dates at PAX East. Pretty sure NinjaBee are going (Nutjitsu) and Capy will be there showing off Super Time Force and Below which the former in QA etc, they said before May/June.
Wasn't the rumor that they may allow devs more GPU instead of being able to snap?
I'll be there asking questions to any indie I see. I also am planning to meet with Undead Labs at some point

Any reviews yet for Strike Suit Zero? Tempting to buy it, but would like to read some impressions first.
Thanks. Only major downside for me is the lack of customization. Loved Project Sylpheed on the 360 and haven't had a good space sim since, so I'll take the gamble and buy it.

pressplay_games: Packing for Pax! We have great new stuff to show you when we get there #PAXEast
Steverulez: Don't suppose you'll be announcing your 360/XB1 game for later in the year there?
pressplay_games: you never know
Steverulez: I know someone that's going, I will get them to seek you out and demand an announcement if you don't do it willingly!
pressplay_games: we will tell you all (but tell your friend to find us, perhaps there is something for him to try)
I don't mean to double post, but it's been 2 days and I don't want to just edit it into my last post .
Earthlock: Festival of Magic got funded last night with 48 hours left, so it is indeed coming to Xbox One!
Also can't wait to see Press Play's new game!
Very happy about that, looks like a charming game!

Isn't it supposed to be featured in the 266 issue of Edge?
Someone with Edge that can confirm it?
Is Edge out today? I'm heading into town so I may take a look.
Press Play's new game is called Totem and is out on Xbox One/360 in October. Someone posted a screengrab from Edge's latest edition, but I know that isn't allowed to post directly here. Please someone let me know if posting about a screengrab is also forbidden and I will remove the link.
Well that's disappointing after seeing what they're capable of from the Max game.
But this was probably just a quick game that their "B team" did.
I'd imagine they have something bigger in the works.
The article mentions that the two designers that came up with the game were given a small team, so that is very possible.
Yeah I just read the article and it turns out that's exactly what it is; a small side project.
Looks likes a fun little puzzle game.

edit: Removed the link, rather not chance it, but Google should be your friend .
Just saw Powerstar Golf is getting a new course, Coyote Canyon. Will be at The Next Level booth at PAX.
I've been really enjoying powerstar so a new course will be nice.

Totem?
I could not find the pictures/scans, but.... bad vibe from "Totemball".
Awesome. Powerstar is probably my favorite game to pick up and play a round at a time. From the name it sounds like it could be a desert theme, which would be cool.

Do we have a thread for xbo stuff generally?
I want to know what exclusives I might have to look forward to if I bought one. Indie or otherwise.
Let me see if I understood this right or if hopefully I'm missing something:
downloadable games (they're not called XBLA anymore, are they?) have no mandatory demos anymore, now it's like on PSN (awful decision, this was one of the many things MS got right back then when XBLA started)?
There's a whoppin' total of 7 game's demos to download on the store (Zumba, NBA Live, Fifa, DR3, KSR Pre Season, Lego Marvel and maybe one more title that I'm missing atm) + Killer Instinct, is that it?

Below (timed exclusive)
Either this one or the monthly threads.
I guess we have
D4
Fable Legends
Untitled Halo game
Untitled Gears of War
Sunset Overdrive
Quantum Break
Super Time Force
Below (timed exclusive)
And then you have a bunch of stuff like the new magic game etc. exclusive to Microsoft platforms.
Not much else is known so far. You might get a better picture after E3.
Hoping for good stuff at e3 then, eek. Altho ps4/wiiu lineups are bleak for me too. All the multiplats I'll get on pc.
We did, then got told to move it to OT, which we did, then some mod closed it after like 40 posts for whatever reason, so we kinda just use this one as it's most active.Do we have a thread for xbo stuff generally?

Of course developers hated having to put out demos. That would mean gamers would actually get a chance to try out some the crappy games that have come out BEFORE buying them *GASP*. In all seriousness though, that sucks that developers don't like them because there was literally at least 10-15 times when I tried out a demo of an XBLA game with no intention to buy it and ended up liking the game so much I bought solely on my experience in the demo. So, as much as they hate it they are possibly missing out on sales this way. Plus, if you are confident in your game why would you not want to put out a demo to convince people who are on the fence?Developers hated the mandatory demos and it caused problems in many instances (most recently it was with Monaco) so Microsoft got rid of them.
