I wouldn't say excited, but I'm very interested. I hope it turns out good. Not a big fan of the PvZ franchise. The footage shown at E3 was pretty cool looking though.

well I had the chance to try the new DS4 and, though I really felt an improvement coming from the current DS3, I didn't like the triggers, the right one felt somewhat of uncomfortable.

well I can't wait to try this new XB1 pad, I'm crazy in love with 360's controller so this seems to improve everything in it, though it seems that the bumpers could be the worst part in this new design.

I agree with Syphon...the XB1 pad is excellent and the PS4 pad is better than PS3 but that is not saying much.

If the One preorders are anything like the PS4 preorders on Amazon, there won't be any movement on them until Wednesday. Orders shipping from the MS store will probably be held up. I remember getting an iPhone from Apple a few years ago, and it sat in a UPS warehouse for a couple days. I imagine this will be the same.

Yep. A lot of advanced prep work and staging, due to the high volume of consoles being shipped.

One of my favorite things about PDZ. I remember pointing out how awesome they were to a friend when the 360 launched and he was like, "whoa! you're right!". I wish more FPS games had kickass reload animations like that.

I think you'd probably be okay.

All I know is that MS have said the console will be banned from accessing Live up until close to launch. So to be honest it won't matter if you go offline or stay online, the end result will be the same.

Preordered one of the last Xbox Day One Editions are GameStop about 30 mins ago. I hope I don't regret this. Got rid of the Halo 4 360 and the few games I had to afford to pay it off. We'll see.

looks like it will be the best game for kids across the board (and my wife, if I ever dont want to use the bone)

basically national geographics "zoopedia", 1080p with nice animal fur shaders, uses the large memory for large zoo's etc

Halo 4 has some awesome reload animations with the Forerunner weapons. It's especially awesome when you first pick up the weapons and the assemble themselves around the Chief's hand.

Got a launch PS4 and still don't have any games for it. I am more excited about the launch games for the Xbox one with Forza, Crimson Dragon, Dead Rising 3!

Does anyone know when the embargoes are up for reviewers? I would have thought they would have wanted to get it in their hands before the PS4 launch.

I have an unopened copy sitting next to me that I bought a few weeks ago on the cheap. I should pop that in tonight and check it out.

Not so much disappointed its missing launch but its due out pretty close to Titanfall which seems odd that EA would cannibalise their own games like that. Perhaps its aimed at a different group, but i've got it pre-ordered, I think it looks great.

This is certainly true as well. Two exclusive (GW is timed if memory serves) multiplayer only games coming out in such a short time from the same publisher is very odd indeed.

Wouldn't be surprised if GW was delayed until after TF, but then that would probably kill any chance it has to gain a semi thriving community. Maybe we'll see it early 2014 instead of Spring?

The soundtrack and the varied environments and crazy weapons. I'm hoping we could see a reboot of JFG this coming generation.

That's my problem too. I was getting all caught up in the PS4 hype even though I had decided to wait until next year and thought about go out to find one but when I looked there was really nothing I wanted to play on that system. On the opposite end I have too many games I want to play on the XB1, I don't know which ones to take off the list because I can't justify buying all of them. I'm even excited for stuff like Zoo Tycoon and Powerstar Golf.

According to the one in San Antonio, they're going to have a DJ, Xbox ones set up, and pizza. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Yeah the PS4 hype train from GAF was too much to say no to, My PS4 is still unopened but no point to open it if I have no games I want to play on it lol.

You're welcome. The reason I know about this is because at one point this was going to be my solution but I decided to replace a one shelf entertainment rack that was next to my TV/TV stand, with a 3 shelf rack. If the measurements aren't right just look up "risers" on Amazon till you find the right dimensions, they should have something that would work.
