You think that's bad, guy on another forum is getting an Xbox next year 'sometime' but has bought Dead Rising 3. That's torture.
I haven't even seen an Xbox One or controller in person yet. I love that feeling of opening that new box and seeing everything for the first time.

I bought one today and all it did was REALLY excite me for Friday.
I just couldn't resist! I wanted to know how it feels! and it feels amazing. Can't wait to actually play Forza with it and test out the rumble triggers.

Damn...I didn't see this video before. I'm tempted to just go preorder this tomorrow. I was going to go with Need for Speed or Forza on top of the other stuff, but this just looks unreal.

Go to Toys R Us and by 3 of those games and get a $50.00 Gift card. Go back the next day and buy $50.00 Xbox live card and you just got yourself an extra 50 bucks to spend on downloadable items.
One thing I give MS credit for are their Xbox One commercials. They have been very good. Have shown way more footage (doctored or otherwise) of actual games than I've seen of the official PS4 commercials. The Forza 5 spot during the football game tonight was pretty nice.

Sticks are top notch quality. The edge has this quality grip to it,blows away the 360 sticks.

They feel extremely sturdy. The middle indentation feels a tad smaller than the 360 controller, however I feel I get a better grip of the sticks.
The controller with the play&charge battery is lighter than the old 360 controller(Currently have them side by side while im typing.)
The wings truly feel like a jump back towards the Original revised Xbox controller( S), giving you a better grasp of the controller itself.
Edit: BTW THE TRIGGERS MY GOD THE TRRRRRRIIIIGGGGERRRRSSS... hnnngg

This is all true. I also love the way that the triggers are rounded on the edges. Fingers fit over them PERFECTLY. I can't wait to actually try it out.

I hadn't realized how much wider the One's triggers are on the controller than the 360's. I wonder if it's going to be easier on the fingers for games like Assassin's Creed where I can sometimes get a bit of a cramp while holding the trigger for long periods.

I think you will have to try it in your hand. Like I mentioned earlier, with the wings being longer(ala OG Xbox S controller) it might be a way to diminish what you described.

I had to laugh when you said that, because I can see it two ways:
1) The packaging felt very nice in my hands, and didn't try cutting me like typical plastic wrap.
2) I was able to shred the packaging in less than 5 seconds and get to the controller . . . because I was impatient and couldn't immediately figure out how to open it.
High quality . . . ha. Still love the controller, but high quality packaging may not be quite the phrase I'd use

Well compared to the PS4 packaging its night and day really. The box and packaging feels like you are purchasing a High quality item.

Makes sense. I don't remember opening my PS4 controller . . . it wasn't nearly as memorable. So, I can see your point!
Still had to laugh though, because I don't think I've *ever* shredded an electronic eqipment's box so quickly.
The last thing I want is a controller made by Mad Catz. I just want Sony to fix their bloody analog sticks. I'm not talking about asymmetrical placement. I'm referring to the portion that your thumbs rest on. Xbox One's controller is godly.

Buying Dead Rising 3, Ghost and Battlefield 4 at Toys R Us early in the morning on Friday, and instantly using the $50 on a card.Forza Motorsport 5 I'll pick up at MidNight when I get my console, so I have something to play when I get home at Midnight.
Regarding Killer Instinct...
-Will Gamestop be selling codes for it, or do I have to purchase a "gift card" to redeem on Xbox Live and purchase the game?
-Will the 'Pin Edition' be carried across retail Microsoft Stores or just online?
I'm planning to get either the Ultra or Pin Edition, but the only Microsoft Store around here is 30-40 minutes away, ordering online will mean getting the game next week and I want to play the game day one....
