Microsoft has to keep going hard with these OS/UI updates. Keep finetuning the UI, fix game install times, a few other odds and ends and we'll have fantastic results. Exploit your strength

Either way, it's saving the PNG with limited levels. 0-16 and 235-255 are just missing so it's impossible to get black and white and instead you end up with a sort of light grey and dark grey, at best:

So it looks washed out.

You can actually correct this yourself by expanding the levels yourself in an image editor. Top is before and bottom is after:

To do this, use the Levels tool and change the input to 16 on the low end and 235 on the high end.

No, it is indeed used, and probably was the best translation for "asshole", but it feels out of place. I must be nitpicking, I guess, as I always avoid localised content.

It's the opposite issue actually. The game looked so good that it didn't run at a perfectly stable framerate compared to the previous game.

During breakfast or the morning yard talk, search other desks to find rope or duct tape. Hang out in the hall by solitary until a guard walks by - jump them and see if they have the red key. If they do steal it and their uniform, tie them up and stick them in solitary. If not, jump another guard until you find it. Put on the uniform and walk out the bottom door, to the left, through the red-locked gate and then out the door.

We'll that sounds easier than what I did.

I dug a hole in the computer room and made a fake wall block to replace the hole. I then made a pair of wire snips with some files and then at night, went through the hole, onto the roof, jumped off and cut through the fence.
