Well some users in GAF didn’t like That I always typed Xbox One Series X when in touch with the new machine of Xbox family.
So I stopped to use that term in favor of new Xbox or just Xbox.

But I was right since beginning... the name of the new console is indeed Xbox One Series X and that fits the MS narrative of no new generation and games being made across all the Xbox One family.

Xbox One Series X is just the new hot hardware to be release on Xbox One family.

Well MS uses that name.

Let’s now wait they announce the Xbox One Series S.

Are you saying it is part of the Xbox One generation and the correct name is "Xbox ONE Series X", not "Xbox Series X".

Because I don't believe that.

That tweet looks just like a mistake/typo. They're likely just confusing themselves by talking about both Xbox One X and Xbox Series X. Nowhere else did anyone purposely call it Xbox One Series X.

Are you saying that they even confuse themselves with their naming convention?

That's the first time I've ever seen anybody use the name Xbox One Series X. Everywhere else you can possibly go & check... It's referred to as the Xbox Series X.

So I'm going to go ahead & assume it's a mistake by Larry there. & while I'm at it, I'll go ahead & assume that ethomaz ethomaz thought they were on to some devastating console warrior point scoring opportunity here.

Yeah that’s it. Kinda pathetic to create a thread based on that. Nobody is perfect. A typo can happen to anyone.
No need to make such a big fuss about it unless you are low-life console warrior. Then it’s a great opportunity (/s)

Believe this is the same guy that says 1080p is sharper than 1800p as well.

They'll get even more confused after years of pretending that every Xbox can play every Xbox game but then after a year or more they finally get their next-gen software released and only the Series X can play them.

"But I thought you guys said..."

Well yeah. Xbox naming has been confusing since they named the Xbox One (which is what most of us called the original Xbox during the 360 years).

Since they wanna start making first party exclusives again, should've called it the xbox 720, would've been a better name.

I hope there's more than one instance of them using that name besides this tweet. If you saw the console called Xbox Series X 99 times and Xbox One Series X one time its obviously a typo.
